It doesn't cause any blemishes and leaves the skin feeling soft and matte, making it ideal for those with oily or combination skin types Unfortunately, I didn't notice any significant effects, which was disappointing considering the price point - th*******Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 15, 2024
I loved how light this emulsion felt, applying smoothly like an essence without any heaviness. The fragrance is pleasant, and the packaging has an elegant design, making it a great gift option! Even though I don't have dry skin, this product alone was enough to keep my skin from feeling parched. Considering the high price point, I didn't notice any particularly remarkable effects. - er**********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 7, 2024
It absorbs well and feels hydrating. I'll need to keep using it to see if the effects are long-lasting. It's lightweight but I'm not sure if the firm texture lasts long. I think I'll need to continue using it to find out. - eo*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessOct 6, 2023
The texture is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to apply and quick to absorb. Whether you use a little or a lot, it absorbs well into the skin. The pump dispenser is hygienic and convenient to use, which makes me reach for it often. It seems perfect as a light layer for summer makeup. As lightweight as it is, it doesn't provide deep hydration. The moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last very long. The scent is hard to describe, but personally, I'm not a fan. - yd***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2023
I was hesitant to buy the O'hui emulsion, thinking it might be heavy, but it's surprisingly light. As someone with extremely oily skin, I find it hard to finish with a cream, so I opted for this emulsion. It applies as lightly as a hydrating moisturizer, which I love. The scent isn't overpowering either, which is another plus. I think the idea that O'hui products are heavy is just a misconception. After applying my basic and main essences, I finish with this emulsion, and it feels like it creates a protective layer over the essences. Most importantly, it's refreshing and light, which I really appreciate. If you're interested in trying the O'hui line but worried about heaviness, I'd recommend giving The First Geniture Emulsion a try. I didn't really notice any significant drawbacks. Contrary to expectations of it being thick, it's refreshing and light. It absorbs well into the skin. If you find creams too heavy, finishing with an emulsion like this can be a great option. As someone with extremely oily skin who finds even hydrating moisturizers heavy, I really need an emulsion that's rich in nourishing ingredients yet light, and this product seems to fit the bill. I especially recommend it as a finishing step for those with oily skin. - su********Combination SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2022
This line is an absolute must for those with deep dehydrated skin. It's truly amazing! I honestly can't think of any drawbacks to this product. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2022
It's wonderfully hydrating! Feels like it's worth every penny. The pump bottle makes it convenient to use and easy to control the amount. The texture is just right - not too thick or runny, with a bit more viscosity than an essence. It absorbs well and spreads smoothly on the skin. The price is a bit steep. Other than that, I can't really find any downsides. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2022
I've been using this product consistently for years. While some other brands don't suit me, I stumbled upon this one by chance and love it. It absorbs well without feeling greasy, and has just the right intensity. I appreciate that it's a functional product too. It works great when paired with the cell essence. The only drawback is the price - I wish it were a bit more affordable. Other than that, I can't find any faults with it. - md**********Combination SkinAcne SkinJan 6, 2022
It's a rather ordinary emulsion without any special qualities. It's moderately hydrating and reasonably lightweight. However, it doesn't seem to fully justify its price point. The ingredients are somewhat disappointing, and there seems to be some potential for irritation. Every time I use it, my face feels slightly puffy overall. Those with super sensitive skin might want to think twice before using this product. - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedOct 19, 2021
This emulsion has an ampoule-like texture that's packed with moisture and nutrients, making it perfect for those who dislike the heavy feel of traditional emulsions. I had stopped using emulsions for a long time because I found them too heavy, but The First product doesn't have that feeling at all, which I love. The formula applies smoothly like an ampoule and absorbs well without any stickiness. After application, my skin feels hydrated yet matte, making it ideal for summer when finished with a gel cream or The First emulsion alone. It feels a bit light for winter, so I tend to use it in other seasons or mix it with oil during colder months. Mix with oil when you need a richer texture!
