The strobing effect is subtle and just right. I appreciate the understated glow it provides. I'm not sure if it's worth the price. I bought it to use on its own, but I don't think it's suitable for standalone use. It seems to focus more on strobing than being a CC cream.

It definitely brightens my complexion, which is great. My face looks clearer and more radiant. Since it's a bit too light for me on its own, I mix it with a purple base. The combination is perfect - it absorbs well and feels hydrating on my skin. When used alone, the texture feels a bit tight, causing my foundation to pill. It's not very hydrating, so after a while, it seems like the shimmer particles settle into my pores. Fortunately, I found a good combination by mixing it with another product, but next time I might just opt for a regular sunscreen instead. Pro tip: Mix it with Es*** purple base for amazing results! The best part is that it gives a nice glow when viewed from a distance. It also works well as a base for makeup. Even with a small amount, there's some white cast and the pearl effect isn't great. While it does brighten your complexion under foundation, it's not ideal as a standalone sunscreen. For this price, you might be better off buying something else. The ingredients aren't impressive either.
