I received this as a gift and tried it out - it was perfect for summer use! I didn't find the peach scent artificial at all (though this can vary from person to person). It provided just the right amount of hydration, making it a product I really enjoyed using. There weren't any particular downsides, but if I had to point out one thing, I'd say it's best suited for summer use only. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The scent is peachy, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous~ Love it! Since it's optimized for oily skin, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying - gr********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 20, 2020
A lightweight emulsion with a fluid consistency. It felt a bit too light for me, but my boyfriend with very oily skin loved it. I ended up giving it to him, haha! The hydration level is a bit lacking, so you need to apply it twice. It's a bit tricky for dry skin types. If I'm going to use this, I might as well use the Innisfree Cica Cream instead. As with other products, don't rub this in vigorously. Instead, gently pat it onto your face for better absorption. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2020
Usually, I'm hesitant to use emulsions because they tend to be greasy and sticky, but this one is truly light and moisturizing. It absorbs completely, making it perfect for a quick application before school or when heading out for a casual outing. The pleasant peach scent is a bonus, and the price is quite reasonable. I'm enjoying using it. The product is colorless with a translucent appearance. The container makes it a bit tricky to squeeze out the emulsion. It would be more convenient if it had a pump dispenser. Also, there aren't many Skinfood stores around, which can be a drawback. I recommend not using a cotton pad for application. It's best to apply it with your hands after toner, gently patting it in to help it absorb. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2020
Highly recommended for those with dry skin! It's packed with hydration and has a lovely, subtle balsam scent. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. The high moisture content might make your skin produce even more oil. For best results, cleanse with toner first, then apply this. Your skin will feel wonderfully moisturized! - yc***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 15, 2020
I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery. When applying with my hands, most emulsions leave a slippery feeling, which I don't like. But this one doesn't make my hands feel slick after application - they feel nice and dry! It has a peach scent that reminds me of those special moments when you pack emulsion samples for a picnic or trip. It's a pleasant, unique fragrance that puts me in a good mood. There's not much to dislike, but if I had to nitpick, the scent might be divisive. It's hard to describe, but it's somewhat reminiscent of baby wipes? Some people might love it, while others might not be fans. It dries quickly and leaves the skin feeling soft, but if you don't feel it's moisturizing enough, you might want to layer it a few times. It might be a bit of a hassle, but applying multiple thin layers after each one dries could be beneficial for those needing extra hydration. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
The scent is lovely, and it's affordable. Even though I have oily skin, it doesn't feel greasy. My skin feels plump and hydrated, as if it's been filled with moisture. It's not in a pump bottle, which is less hygienic. The fragrance might be why my eyes stung a bit, so I switched to Tony Moly's Green Tea line. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2019
It's great for light use in summer when your skin tends to be oilier! Doesn't provide any hydration during dry winter months. Not recommended for winter use. - ba*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDec 3, 2019
The toner was somewhat helpful for me, especially during summer when I tend to have excess oil. This product taught me that I don't really need an emulsion for summer use. It feels more like a watery essence than the emulsions I'm familiar with, but with a slightly thicker consistency. Is Skinfood supposed to be this unforgiving to my skin? Why doesn't it provide me with the hydration I need? It dries out quickly after application. I'm not a fan of the artificial peach scent. The wide opening of the bottle leaves a lot of residue after use! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinNov 30, 2019
It has a really powdery feel, making it perfect for those with oily skin. I absolutely loved the subtle peach scent too! The emulsion has a slight toner-like quality, leaving your skin feeling hydrated yet matte at the finish. There's hardly any oiliness, truly living up to its name by making your skin feel powder-soft! Unfortunately, I noticed some small blemishes appearing after using this. The packaging design makes it a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. A friend with dry skin tried it and found it lacking in hydration, saying it left her skin feeling quite tight. For best results, apply a hydrating toner before this emulsion to eliminate any sticky feeling and achieve that perfect powder-soft finish!
