The scent has the signature scent of madecassoside, and when applied with the puff, it has a cooling sensation and feels much more moisturizing than powdery. At first application, it gives a subtle, beautiful glow. And if you layer it thinly, the coverage gradually builds up. When I bought this product, it was on a huge sale online for around $30, and there were only 23 shades left, but the 21st shade matches me perfectly! The shade looks a bit bright.
ConsThe longevity is not as long as claimed. It doesn't seem to apply transparently. When applied, it looks a bit uneven and bumpy... And even after powder application, it transfers onto the mask. Touch-ups will be necessary. The included puff is really not great. The caking is quite severe, so you'll need to replace the puff with a different one.
TipI recommend doing a powder application.

This is the only product I can use comfortably without aggravating my acne! 🌻Color - Although I'm a 23, I also use 21-22 well. 21 is too light, so I continue using 23. 🌻Longevity - The ingredients are gentle, so the longevity isn't incredibly long, but it definitely doesn't break down messily. It fades away naturally, so I just need to dab on a little touch-up in the afternoon when I've worn it since morning. 🌻Coverage - This is why I use it despite having a lot of acne and scars. The coverage is high. Is it extremely high? Hmm, I'd say it's just about right. The slightly yellow tone helps conceal redness well! If the coverage is lacking, I just dab it on a bit more. It covers pretty well overall! 🌻Oil control - Interestingly, it's not as oily as you'd think. The T-zone does break down (I have an oily complexion), but in the summer it definitely wears off, so I lightly powder it. It still wears off, but it's manageable.
ConsThe longevity isn't as good as regular foundations. But it fades away subtly, so touch-ups are easy. The built-in puff isn't great, but people who use it well seem to like it. I absolutely don't use it and use the Missha Air Puff instead.
TipI recommend stocking up when there are big discounts!

However, for most people, it can be used without much issue. It is very moisturizing, so it doesn't accentuate dry patches or flakiness, and with just one touch-up, the longevity is quite good. I especially think the 22 shade would work well for many people.
ConsAs for downsides, I don't really think there were any major ones for me. The puff that comes with it is definitely not great, so I tried using the Missha air puff that I use for other cushions, but it looked a bit patchy. Switching to a damp puff resolved that issue and allowed for a nice, dewy skin expression. The 23 shade may not be an exact match, but it can still give a bright, radiant skin look, similar to a 22 shade.
TipFor those who find the 23 shade too bright or uncomfortable to use, I would not recommend this cushion. I highly suggest using the Peripera puff and dampening it before application. This helps achieve a beautiful, dewy skin finish.

It doesn't get cakey and when I finish with powder, it stays beautifully without breaking down. This is a product I keep coming back to, even after trying others. I think I've already purchased it around 4 times.
ConsThe puff was a bit disappointing. And even though I got the shade 23, it still seems a bit brighter compared to other drugstore foundations.

Apart from that, the ingredients seem decent for a cushion, so I used it with confidence. After using it for over a week, I haven't had any breakouts, which is exciting! @ Coverage The main reason I use a base product is to cover imperfections, and I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage of this one. Maybe it's because I didn't have high expectations for this. I've attached photos below (product photo + bare skin + applied). Even with a thin layer, it smooths out the skin quite nicely. If you layer it a bit more and use a concealer for the areas that need more coverage, it's perfect. @ Longevity It doesn't get disgustingly oily. After about 3 hours, the oil comes through a bit, but it doesn't get clumpy with the oil. So it's easy to touch up. @ Reapplying Since this product has a slightly powdery finish, it doesn't get cakey when you reapply. So it's suitable for touch-ups. @ Shade It's labeled as #23, but it doesn't read as #23. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews and was considering #21, but I'm really satisfied with #23. Applying #21 from other products makes my skin look a bit too bright, and #23 looks more natural and healthy on me. As someone who is around #22, I'm very happy with the shade match. The coverage also seems better suited to my skin tone. Of course, some people may find #23 a bit too light, but it works great for me. @ Cooling Sensation + Fragrance The cooling sensation every time I apply it is so refreshing. The fragrance that goes with it is love-it-or-hate-it, but I personally like it. At first, I was a bit unsure, but I got used to it quickly. It has this forest-y scent that makes me feel like I'm applying a treatment.
Cons- Longevity and Adhesion The longevity isn't amazingly long-lasting. As mentioned earlier, the powdery finish probably contributes to that. After a few hours, the oily areas start to fade a bit (but you can easily reapply and it won't get cakey). The adhesion is also not the best, around medium-to-low. - Cushion Puff The product itself is fine, but the cushion puff feels like it's just lightly dusting the powder on top, if that makes sense. It's not to the point of being unusable, but it just feels a bit off. - Pore Coverage It covers pigmentation spots surprisingly well, but the pore coverage is just medium. It's not that it doesn't cover pores at all, but the larger pores on my skin still show through. I think it's more an issue with my large pores than the product itself.
TipThis product has a dewy finish, so in the winter, it can easily cause hair to stick to the face, especially around the hairline. I'd recommend doing some light powdering around the perimeter of the face to help with that. Also, if you tend to get oily in certain areas, powdering those spots can help improve the longevity of the cushion. That should give you better wear time throughout the day.

ConsThe built-in puff's performance is very poor. The darkening is severe, and it doesn't adhere well.

I've used about 5 of them so far. I used to use Double Wear and Iope cushions, but this is the most comfortable and best to apply. One lasts about half a year. In winter, I use it with Madecassoside and moisturizer, and in summer, I use Perfect Cover or the airy type. I always dab powder around my nose and mouth area, so even though it has a nice finish, it still looks good. I love all 4 types, so I buy a different one each time I finish one. I really hope it doesn't get discontinued.
ConsWhen I use the included puff, it emphasizes oil spots and cakes up. I bought a water droplet puff from Daiso and it works great.

ConsThe puff is really crappy ㅠㅠ I bought a different puff and it seems much better.

ConsEven though I have dry skin, if I don't finish with a powder, by the time school ends, my face is an oil slick ㅜㅜ. When that happens, it just wipes off when I touch it. And the puff is really not great.
TipTry using a different puff!

Since the foundation I had been using until recently was suitable for oily skin, even though I diligently cared for my skin, the flaky skin came back quickly, so I had to change it. As I haven't used it for long, I will continue to observe the skin condition and add more if necessary. First of all, I really liked the tea tree scent. The scent is refreshing, but the cooling sensation is not that strong. This is not a bad thing, as it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. As promised by the mild ingredients, it doesn't cause itchiness or stinging. The coverage was better than I expected, being dewy. When layered thinly, the coverage is comparable to my previous Laroche-Posay foundation, which had excellent coverage. The formula is moisturizing, so my dry cheeks don't feel tight even after applying makeup. I'm glad I switched. It will work great for me until the peak of summer. I prefer a matte skin finish, so the dewy look is not my preference, but those who like a glowy look will enjoy it. Some said it's a semi-matte finish, but I find it stays dewy throughout. As this is my first time using a dewy foundation, I may not have the best reference for dewy standards. But it's easy to touch up. I'm around 21-22 shade. I usually use 23 to match my body, and was worried it might be too bright, but it's not overly bright. However, those with very dark skin tones may end up looking ashy. It also has a slight darkening effect, so the color becomes closer to my neck over time, which I find favorable.
ConsIt feels quite sticky and transfers a lot. To the extent that when I press down with a puff, the outline of the puff is imprinted on my skin... the same happens with my fingers. It doesn't seem to adhere well. Interestingly though, while it transfers to my hands, it doesn't transfer to tissue paper. This gets better over time as the initial application wears off. Still, I have to touch it up. Around the nose area and on my pores, it tends to emphasize them by the time I need to touch it up. My pores are already quite large, so that's not a big issue, but the area around my nose definitely requires regular touch-ups when using this foundation.
