1. Fresh and lightweight feel After trying various sunscreens like a nomad, I've finally settled on this one. First off, it doesn't leave any greasy or rich feeling. As someone with oily skin, I tend to avoid sunscreens that feel heavy. Plus, it's not sticky at all. I absolutely hate when my hair sticks to my face, so this product would be perfect for those who prefer a 'barely there' sensation. 2. Price When Missha has a sale, especially their buy-one-get-one-free deals, it's quite affordable to stock up on this product. 1. Eye irritation If you apply too much around the eyes or under-eye area, it can sting quite badly. Avoid rubbing your eyes. Also, be careful not to get it around your mouth when eating, as it has a strong cosmetic taste. 2. Separation issues When you haven't used it for a while and squeeze the tube, a watery substance comes out. Always remember to shake it well before use if it's been sitting unused. 3. Skin sensitivity While it's fine when your skin is in good condition, it can be quite irritating when your skin is compromised. 4. Ingredients I initially chose this product for its texture rather than its ingredients. However, the ingredient list is less impressive than I thought, so I'm considering trying other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2019
* Sunscreen nomad / Started applying sunscreen all over my body since middle school due to my dark and reddish skin complex / Too lazy to study ingredients / For sunscreens, I prioritize feel above all else, regardless of ingredients! - Skin type: Usually combination, but extremely oily when it comes to sunscreens. I have a mild sun allergy, sweat a lot on my face, and easily get redness in winter and a burning sensation in summer. I develop hives under sunlight, so I apply sunscreen 365 days a year, even indoors (reapplying more than 3 times a day). Can't use powder on my face. In midsummer, I use sunscreen all over my body, applying different products to different areas. * Considerations when buying sunscreen: 1. Is it sticky? Does it feel oily? 2. Can it be reapplied multiple times? (Assuming proper amount is used for initial application) * Products used: 1. (Make P:rem) Blue Ray Sun Fluid 2. (Make P:rem) Blue Ray Sun Gel 3. (Missha) All Around Safe Aqua Sun Gel ★★★★ No stickiness × No white cast × Can be reapplied 3 times a day Personally, I've been using this product consistently for several years. It's my go-to sunscreen for all seasons when going out (before makeup). In midsummer when oil production increases, it can be slightly sticky, but it applies well and is reasonably priced. It's great for liberal use on face and neck. Eye irritation :( I usually apply sunscreen up to my eyelids, but with this one, even when I only applied it under my eyes, they stung. The irritation continued even after wiping it off completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2019
I've been using this product for years. Before, I was scared to use sunscreen because it made my face sting so much. But when I tried this one, it didn't sting at all, which is why I've been using it for years. It's not greasy, or at least not very oily, so it's great for applying makeup too. I really love it. I was using it happily until I started hiking, and then I couldn't use it anymore. The reason is that while the sunscreen feels light in normal conditions, which is good, when I sweat, it starts to run. It kept getting into my eyes, making them sting and tear up constantly... That's the disappointing part. For everyday use, I recommend this product as it's non-irritating and feels light. However, I advise against using it when exercising. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2018
It absorbs well without leaving a white cast. Seems perfect for winter use. It stings when applied around the eyes. I'd recommend using a different product for the eye area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2018
Compared to other products, this sunscreen is less sticky, which is why I've been using it consistently. It's also quite affordable when you catch it on sale. If even a tiny bit gets into your eyes, you'll feel it immediately. In summer, when you're sweating, it can run into your eyes, causing discomfort that's hard to bear. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2017
It has a good spreadability. It spreads well, has good absorption, and applies moisturizing. I can apply it before makeup without any issues. Personally, I dislike a whitish cast, and it seems to have a slightly brightening effect, which I'm satisfied with. You need to use the proper amount of sunscreen to get the full effect. Squeezing out an amount the size of two finger tips and thoroughly absorbing it before applying makeup works well. It applies moisturizing, but after it's fully absorbed, it becomes quite drying. It ends up feeling very powdery, which is a bit disappointing. And the stinging in the eyes is really severe. Even if I try to avoid the eye area, yawning makes my eyes water, and it's really irritating. Buy it during a 1+1 promotion. When applied, it becomes more powdery and drying, so you'll need to use a richer base makeup to properly balance it out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2017
1. It's a great deal to buy during Missha's One Plus One event 2. Recommended for those who dislike the sticky feeling of sunscreen 3. Doesn't leave a greasy look after application 4. The sunscreen absorbs very quickly, allowing you to apply foundation or base makeup right away without having to wait for absorption 5. Light enough to reapply for touch-ups without feeling heavy 1. Applying around the eyes can cause a slightly stinging sensation 2. If applied directly after a light skincare routine, it can feel a bit drying As I have dry skin, I find it works best for me to apply it in the order of toner - moisturizer - sunscreen, and then use a dewy foundation. However, when I've used semi-matte or matte foundations, I've experienced significant tightness. But my oily-skinned sister with dehydration didn't find it drying at all when she used it - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2017
It's best when it applies smoothly and softly like applying lotion on the face. This is my third repurchase, I recommend it. There wasn't really anything disappointing, but there was a slight eye irritation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2017
It's great to use in the winter as it's moisturizing and has no white cast. 1. It causes severe eye irritation. Organic sunscreens do tend to cause some eye irritation, but this is quite severe. 2. It's too greasy to use in the summer. It's fine in the winter, but it runs down my face in the summer. 3. It causes breakouts. Likely due to the alcohol, it caused me to break out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMay 30, 2017
The affected area feels refreshed after using Aquaras! I have oily skin, but it felt soft and fluffy after applying it, which I liked :) First of all, there was no white cast or stickiness, which I liked! But sometimes my eyes sting a bit. I wouldn't really recommend it for acne-prone skin...
