The price is a bit disappointing. It's quite expensive for what it does. However, it absorbs better and works more effectively than similar products from Oli**, so I'll probably keep buying it.

At first, I was skeptical about its effectiveness for the price, thinking it might be overhyped. But one day, I tried it again and fell in love. The key is to apply it generously. My routine: toner, then (functional serum, or switch the order on sensitive days), followed by this serum (mixed with azulene serum). Layering it 2-3 times generously tackles deep dryness. It seems to shine even more in winter! In summer, I didn't realize how good this gel-cream was, feeling both light and rich. But in winter, it's clearly soothing and even helps with those tiny bumps caused by dryness.

When mixed with azulene oil, it feels too greasy... It seems like it doesn't absorb well. For oily skin types, it's better to use this without adding any oils.

Hydrating and moisturizing. It didn't cause any blemishes and even helped with deep dryness to some extent.

It has a slightly oily texture. This might be more suitable for dry or combination skin types rather than oily skin.

It's gentle and moisturizing, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. I find it works even better for hydration when mixed with other serums.

It's excellent even without mixing in azulene oil, so try using it on its own as well.

The hydration power is great! I bought this on my dermatologist's recommendation, and after treatment, I don't think there's an ampoule quite like this one.

When you're almost finished with the product, you can't get 100% out. You inevitably have to throw away a tiny bit at the end. No matter how much you shake it, not everything comes out. That's the only downside.

It's been three years since my skin became sensitive and weak. After suffering from a severe skin condition, none of my previous skincare products worked anymore, so I've been a skincare nomad for three years.

✅Don't blindly trust the harmful ingredient indicators on Hwahae. As YouTuber Yuna's videos show, chemical ingredients that have been used and researched for a long time seem to be safer for the skin. After developing skin problems, none of the so-called gentle products, natural ingredient products, or best-sellers from SNS and Olive Young worked for me. The common thread was that they were all made with trendy natural ingredients or multiple types of hyaluronic acid. Even if Hwahae shows zero harmful ingredients, these trendy components haven't been researched for long. Unless it's ultra-premium cultivated/extracted natural ingredients, they can contain heavy metals and toxins that accumulate in the skin and cause harm.

✅It has the perfect level of hydration for combination dehydrated skin. It's neither too rich nor too light, which is great.

✅I have super sensitive skin, but I'm using this without any issues.

✅If anyone from Theraderm is reading this, please don't get swept up in trends and keep this formula as is. Please don't discontinue or reformulate it! There's a reason why it's been loved for so long.

✅If you have sensitive skin but need hydration, give this a try. They say if you take good care of your skin's hydration, you're halfway there.

Final verdict: If this doesn't get discontinued or reformulated, it's a holy grail product I'll use for life. (Oh, and I only use the HA serum without mixing in the azulene oil)

The smell is a bit unpleasant.
These days, with wearing masks, the smell keeps coming into my nose.

It has a nice slip and is lightweight.
I sometimes apply it in two layers, and other times I finish with a cream, but despite its lightweight nature, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky, which I like.
