Although it's a matte shadow, it applies smoothly with minimal excess. It's beautiful on its own for those days when you want a subtle makeup look. Be sure to test it out at the store!
ConsApply it with your fingers. It doesn't seem to show up well when applied with a brush.

The application is great and it's excellent value for money! The color has more of an orange tint than I expected.
ConsI was hoping for more of a beige or pink tone, so that's a bit disappointing (it has an orange undertone!).

The color is.... it completely changes the whole mood!🥳 It's not too opaque, the sponge applies it well, and it looks pretty even when applied with your fingers. The sponge size is just right for application, but the brush might feel a bit small. While it's labeled as matte, if you look closely, there are actually tiny micro-shimmer particles, but they're not noticeable at all. The face swatch has a slightly more muted pink tone compared to the swatch on the back of my hand, but it's perfect for my warm-toned skin. I don't think it would look too warm even in this season. For cool-toned skin, it might be a bit tricky. There wasn't much powder kick-up (though I can't say for sure since I used it as a blush). Using it as a blush, the color adheres well, and the compact size makes it really convenient to carry around. I was so sad when the Etude House Cafe Latte color was changed, but this has been a great replacement. Of course, it's not the same color, but it has a different, beautiful vibe. Cafe Latte Milk has a more innocent, feminine feel, while Nude High Heel has a slightly more mysterious, dreamy... badass kind of vibe, you know? Cafe Latte Milk has more of a pink tone, while Nude High Heel leans a bit more orange. Apparently, Nude High Heel was originally released as a blush-highlighter duo, and Holika Holika really nailed it!♥️
ConsThere aren't enough Holika Holika stores, so it's a bit disappointing that I couldn't swatch it in person. To be honest, it's more of a disappointment with the brand rather than the product itself...
TipApply with your fingers or a sponge. It's....

The Holika Holika eyeshadows seem to have turned out well overall. When I tested them and used them at home, they applied well, and I looked at the colors on the official website and blogs, and then I bought them directly from the store. The application is great~ It's a matte eyeshadow, but there are tiny bits of shimmer. Even as a beginner in makeup, the colors were suitable as a base for shading. They apply well with my fingers. There is a slight powderiness when using a brush, but it's not too severe. The color tones are peach + a hint of orange, and there seems to be a beige as well. Without any strong white tones, it's very suitable for warm-toned skin. ♡The color on the far left in the photo is the one I'm referring to♡
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad yet. The price is affordable, and it would be good to buy during a Holika Holika sale.
TipIf you test them in the store and purchase online, you can get 2,000 points. If you buy them around your birthday, you can also get a birthday coupon.
