First off, the brightening effect is undeniable. As you can see from the before and after, even though I'm naturally fair-skinned, after using this mask, my complexion became as light as if I had applied makeup. It's perfect for those who want to achieve that porcelain-like brightness.
ConsI found myself not reaching for this product often. The reason, I think, is that it only makes your skin appear chalky white. The essence is a truly opaque white color. It seems like there's a mixture of powder and liquid. Sometimes when I opened the mask, it felt like the powder and liquid had separated. Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I occasionally felt a slight redness developing. The powder seems to be what creates that flour-like whiteness. So, I felt a bit uneasy about it. Usually, I apply leftover essence from masks to my body, but with this one, I didn't for fear it might transfer onto my clothes the next day. Since I prefer a healthy, inner glow type of brightening, I probably won't buy this mask again.
TipThis product is available at duty-free shops. Keep this in mind if you're planning to travel abroad!

It's probably because of the white serum residue left on the face. It's like a layer of milky essence remaining on the skin.
ConsI felt a slight tingling sensation when I applied this mask, and sure enough, the next day my forehead was covered in tiny blemishes. I have super sensitive skin that reacts badly to harsh ingredients, and this mask seems to contain quite a few of those. It's expensive too, so I'm really disappointed that it irritated my skin. Absolutely not recommended.

It's just okay, I guess...
ConsThe surface feels white and smooth, but it's like there's a coating that leaves the skin underneath feeling dry. I only used it twice, with a week between uses. The first time, my skin felt hot, so I had to use another product to calm it down. A week later, on the second use, my face completely flared up, became swollen, and even started oozing. I ended up at the doctor's office. They said it was contact dermatitis. I know skincare can be hit or miss, and their powder ampoule seems fine, but it's strange how badly this mask doesn't agree with my skin.

ConsThe first few times I used it, I was captivated by the immediate whitening effect and the dewy glow, so I repurchased. Lately, the mask stings, and the day after using it, I get massive breakouts. I'm not sure if my skin has changed, if the formula is different, or if I've developed a sensitivity to the ingredients. I'm now afraid to use the mask and think I should stop.
TipTry it once and if you don't have any sensitivity, go ahead and use it. However, if you're like me and bought a bunch, it's a shame if you suddenly start reacting to it...
