When choosing a tone-up cream, the priority is whether it is moisturizing and does not leave a cakey appearance on the face. Mild tone correction, I tend to apply it before cushion application. Especially for yellow-toned skin, this seems to brighten the complexion naturally.
Cons
When you apply it and then go to sleep, pimples (small bumps?) can appear. It's better to just wash your face and go to sleep.
