Since it's very matte, it's best to test it out before purchasing. I prefer to use it with other products rather than on its own. The color isn't too red, so it blends well with my skin tone and looks lovely as a blush. It diffuses nicely into a natural flush when blended out.

I bought it because the swatch on the back of my hand looked so pretty, but it's too matte. I didn't realize it was an ultra-matte formula. Since it's a matte type and the color is quite nude, it accentuates the flakiness on my lips. It applies thickly and dryly on my lips.

This is a great base color. It goes well with most colors, so it's a good choice for gradients. You can also use it as a lip liner or blush.

The third photo is the same pure color, Burning Love (320), that I used for gradation, but the blending isn't quite right, but please just look at the overall feel! It's great to use them mixed like that.
