It would also be perfect for toning down bold lip colors.
ConsThe texture is too dry and matte, making it difficult to apply and spread evenly.

The brightness and saturation are perfect for a base lip. I usually apply this product first, then layer more vibrant or vivid pink, plum, or red lipsticks on top. It also pairs well with mauve shades. Everything matches beautifully with it. The affordable price is another plus!
ConsI've seen many comments about poor application, and it's true - it's a bit stiff. While not quite as hard as a crayon, it doesn't glide on smoothly. Also, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells on the lips.

It's a neutral nude beige with a few drops of pink mixed in. Great as a base lip color for cool summer/winter tones, and might work well for deep undertones too! Perfect for overlining and covering bluish lip lines. As a standalone lip color, it's quite desaturated and has a white cast, so I wouldn't recommend it alone. But it's fantastic as a base! Personally, I like to mix it with more saturated or deeper shades. ■Texture: It's quite stiff! Feels like a matte lipstick, so instead of rubbing, it's easier to apply by gently tapping it on like a stamp. ■Longevity/Adherence: Longevity is so-so. Being matte, it doesn't transfer much when drinking. Adherence depends on your lip condition! Due to its high brightness and white base, it can emphasize dead skin cells if you don't prep your lips. Always use a lip balm before applying! ■Value for Money: It's hard to find such a nude shade in drugstores, and it's affordably priced. If you take care of your lips, it's an excellent value as a base lip color! I recommend it if you're looking for an affordable, everyday base lip color.
ConsThe application could be better. It's stiff, and being a nude shade, it can emphasize dead skin cells. Make sure to exfoliate your lips before applying.
TipIt also works beautifully as a subtle, pretty blush!

I've been wanting this type of formula for ages, but kept forgetting to buy it. The base color is beautiful, though it's a bit too saturated for my taste.
ConsIf you apply it to moisturized lips, it doesn't absorb well and tends to pill. You need to apply it to dry lips for the color to show up, but since both the formula and your lips are matte, it feels really dry and stiff. It's like applying a crayon to your lips!

Applying this and then layering with Velvet Rose or a similar pink shade created an absolutely divine combination.
ConsIt's a bit thick, so exfoliating to remove dead skin cells is absolutely essential before application!

It would look great on those with light undertones.
ConsIt's a bit dry, making application stiff and emphasizing dead skin cells, which was disappointing. You definitely need to apply lip balm first.
TipThis shade would suit those with light undertones nicely. Make sure to apply lip balm beforehand.
