I'm really disappointed. I'm not sure if I should have spent money on this... As a moisturizer, it doesn't really provide a burst of moisture, it's just so-so... There's no noticeable effect.

The lemon scent is nice... It feels moisturizing when applied.

A lot of people said that, but hell no... It wasn't like that at all. There's a video on the product page showing a flowing texture, but when I tried it myself, it wasn't like that at all.. hahahaha Turns out, according to the Hwahae page, for oily skin types, just using an essence or serum is enough, the cream was apparently too highly concentrated (?) and heavy for me.. In the winter it was really dry, and then suddenly this summer I became super oily and dewy.. I think I'll have to look for a different product.

(This is just how it was for my skin, if you actually look at the ingredients, they're really good. It might be worth trying for dry skin types..)

Overall, this brand had good ingredients and good service. Although it didn't quite suit me, it's also relatively affordable.
After using it for a week, when I said I was having breakouts, they refunded me for free and even offered to let me try another product for free. In that respect, it seemed really good.

It's such a great product! The texture is like a water droplet-infused rice cake, or a gel-type formula that applies smoothly without drying out the skin.
The lemon scent is subtly pleasant, and I really love it.
After using it for a while, I noticed that I don't need to exfoliate as much anymore. I think it's because of the bifida ferment in the formula.

Hmm... But since it's a moisturizer, it would be better if there was at least a bit of moisture left so that the next skincare products would feel more hydrating. It's a bit too dense, so if you apply makeup a bit strongly, it might pill ^^ By the way, I apply foundation with my hands haha. If you use tools, you might not have this feeling.

Since it's a moisture-deficient skin type, at first the moment I applied it, I thought 'Oh no, I've failed' because the texture felt more like an ointment than a moisturizer. It had a bit of a Vaseline-like feel? I thought the oiliness would be overflowing, and even though I have oily skin, it felt so matte and dense that I thought the next step of makeup would pill.

But!!! Unbelievable...
Even with this kind of texture, as time passed, the overflowing oil diminished a lot and my makeup didn't break down. The foundation absorption was great too, and at first, I thought they must have put Vaseline in it because my skin had a subtle glow haha. I've tried all kinds of moisturizers, and I happened to come across this product, and it's a complete success! It's also very affordable (1+1 on the official website)!
