  Oh, when I apply this on its own, it's actually pretty decent...

  Cons

  But when you put makeup on top of this, everything just pills up like crazy. It's a disaster! Don't buy it. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away, so I only used it before bed and washed it off in the morning. The texture feels silicone-like? I'm not a fan at all.

  Pros

  It's deeply hydrating. There's no heavy feeling after application. It has a nice, bouncy texture.

  Cons

  As someone who really loves the Moisture Surge line, this product is the one I reach for the least. After applying emulsion and this product, followed by cream, everything pills up like dead skin cells. It pills under makeup and even on its own. While it might vary depending on skin condition, it always pills on my skin. Although it's not heavy, the finish and texture are disappointing. Considering the price, it seems quite underwhelming.

  The hydration was better than I expected. I enjoy applying products with a rich texture, and this one feels substantial without leaving an oily residue.

  Cons

  The ingredients aren't great. The hydration alone isn't enough if you're only using this product. Also, if you don't let it absorb properly, it can pill like dead skin cells.

  Tip

  If you layer a rich cream over this, you can achieve quite a hydrated feeling.
