  When I was younger, the Shu Uemura foaming makeup base worked really well for me...

  Cons

  Now it's too drying for me to use. I've only used it once or twice and it's just sitting there unused.

  Pros

  I bought this to use as a mousse base under foundation in summer, as I heard it controls oil and helps makeup adhere better. However...

  Cons

  As someone with combination skin leaning towards dry, it made my skin feel too parched, causing my makeup to flake off. It was even difficult to use in summer.

  Tip

  It might only suit those with extremely oily skin.

  1. I really like the matte finish, as it adheres closely to the skin. 2. It has a tone-up function and sun care.

  Cons

  1. It dries out immediately after application, so it's unusable in the winter. 2. I started breaking out as soon as I started using it, and by the 5th day, the inflammation had spread so badly that I had to use a dermatological ointment, so I ended up discontinuing use. It seems like a lot of people have had the same experience of small, red, inflamed bumps popping up.

  Tip

  You need to be careful with the application amount.

  Pros

  I used this product until it was used up and also recommended it to my friends. They said my skin looked so white, bright, and pretty when I used this. Many people asked me what cosmetics I was using. The color correction, pore coverage, and lasting power of this product were all great. I will repurchase this again in the summer.

  Cons

  If your skin condition is not good or you need to do touch-up makeup, there may be a feeling of the existing foundation being strongly fixed, so it can feel a bit streaky. It's good for those who like a powdery finish, but those with very dry skin may feel a bit of tightness.

  Tip

  This would be good for those with good skin or for use in the summer.

  Pros

  This is an optimized base for combination skin with large pores! If you have the envy-worthy skin of an oil-rich country like Saudi Arabia, you'll really love this! I used it well during the summer~

  Cons

  Now the cold winds are blowing in the winter... They say it'll drop below zero next week... As I've gotten older, my oil seems to have disappeared, and I'm so dry ㅠㅠ

  Tip

  I bought this because I was stressed about my pores. With the Benefit Porefessional + Shu Uemura pore base + Guerlain gold foundation + Lorimercier powder, this combination makes my pores disappear. I believe in it!!!
