The shade is quite dark. This was my first Hanskin concealer purchase, and even though I wanted to tone down my complexion, this one is too dark for me.

The thick consistency makes it easy to control with a brush. Just be mindful of the amount you use. It has excellent adherence to the skin. It doesn't irritate blemishes, so it won't cause new ones to form. The coverage is impressive.
