The consistency is both rich and deeply moisturizing. When my newborn had seborrheic dermatitis causing flaky skin, I applied this cream only to the face. It kept skin blemish-free until we switched to another product, which immediately caused irritation. This cream seems to offer excellent moisturizing power and long-lasting effects.
