ProsAfter skincare, I use this product alone. I finished the #23 shade and repurchased it. It's great at covering blemishes and redness without being too matte. The staying power is really impressive - I just need to lightly blot my T-zone in the afternoon, and it lasts all day without touch-ups. (Switching from cushions or liquid foundations to this product alone means I don't need touch-ups, and even if I apply a lot, it doesn't build up excessively. It's easy to control the amount, allows for quick makeup in the morning, and now I find powder makeup more convenient.) It hides pores well, and after applying this powder, I've been complimented on my skin and asked what I've done to it. The #23 shade is slightly darker than #21, offering better coverage. I use #23 all over and #21 in the center of my face. The price is really affordable too. I replace the included puff with ones from Daiso (which are slightly smaller than the original).
ConsIf you're expecting the same coverage as a liquid foundation, this might not be for you. Also, since it's a powder-only makeup, it's not waterproof.
TipI use this product alone after skincare, so I don't control the amount on the puff - I just apply it directly to my face. Being a powder, it doesn't all adhere even if you apply a lot, so it self-regulates. In winter, when skin tends to be dry, I do a rich skincare routine and then pat this on (don't swipe) to avoid pilling. This method prevents dryness.
