That's why I prefer using more hydrating highlighters, which is exactly why I chose this product. Typically, I apply it generously to the areas I want to highlight before my foundation. Then, when I apply my foundation over it, it creates a natural luminous effect. The shimmer particles are fine and subtle, not robotic-looking, and the peachy tone looks natural on the skin. I definitely plan to repurchase this in the future! As with all glow sticks, you need to be careful when applying it over foundation. One minor issue is that you can't push the product all the way in, so closing the cap requires extra attention each time. I've accidentally nicked the product a few times because of this. Also, the staying power is quite short - after about four hours, I notice it's disappeared from my nose area, so I find myself reapplying throughout the day. When I get home and check under bright lighting, I sometimes notice the shimmer has migrated a bit.
