I suppose when I used this mask pack before, my skin was much more troubled and drier than it is now, so the hydrating essence in this mask might have just been better than doing nothing at all. I thought this was the only mask pack that suited me, so I'm really disappointed... But I'm grateful that the company was so kind and processed the refund quickly. The Zioganik products seem to have good ingredients overall, so I hope they do well. I hope I'll be able to find a product from them that suits me in the future. ☁ Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review ☁ I received it on the 19th and tried one every evening from the next day. First, the good points were: 1. The essence-soaked sheet felt like it was giving my skin a lot of nourishment without being overly absorbed. There was a good amount of essence inside, so my face was able to fully absorb it and still have some left over. 2. It felt moisturizing and balanced in both moisture and oil. Because of that, even after removing the sheet mask, my skin was still supple and not dry the next morning. It seems like the perfect moisture-oil balance for dry skin. 3. Since it's a natural bamboo sheet mask, it minimized skin irritation. The scent was also subtle and pleasant! When I looked the next morning, even the blemishes on my forehead had calmed down. The whitening effect seems almost non-existent, though.

I was so happy to be selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! That night, I immediately put it in the refrigerator and used it. Since it was made of hanji (Korean traditional paper), I felt comfortable using it. Unlike regular face masks, the sheet felt thicker, so it seemed like there was more essence absorbed in the pack than usual. Even after finishing the pack, there was a lot of essence left on my face, so I patted it in to absorb it. Even though I had been exposed to strong winds from a fan and air conditioning the night before due to the heat, the next morning, the essence still felt moisturizing. With my dry skin, even after using regular face masks and going to bed, my skin would become dry again the next morning. But in this case, the abundant essence allowed my skin to remain moisturized the next day, which was the best part.

The disappointing part was that since it absorbed so much essence, the pack felt heavier and thicker than regular face masks. It felt a bit stuffy, rather than light and refreshing. With other gel-type masks, I disliked the stickiness, so I had to wash my face with water and then apply a cream, which was a hassle. But with this, I just absorbed it and went to sleep.
