  Pros

  I switched from the Kiss Me Heroine Make mascara to this one, and I'm loving it. The Heroine Make would droop right after application (though it would set in a slightly droopy state), and later I'd find film bits under my eyes and some smudging. But this one holds the curl well, doesn't seem to smudge, and for a film-type mascara, it doesn't flake off much. Maybe one or two flakes throughout the day, and some days none at all. You can remove it completely with just cleansing oil, no need for a special lip and eye remover - that's a real plus. Though using a lip and eye remover does make it come off with less rubbing, which is nice. The only thing is, while the Heroine Make applied very naturally to each lash, this one can sometimes leave little clumps of product on the lashes, depending on how you control the amount. It's fine if you control the amount well and keep combing through. Plus, if you wipe off some of the product at the tube opening, let it dry a bit, and then brush through vigorously, it applies very naturally. I like that. If you apply a bit more while brushing through, it seems to add a tiny bit of volume too.

  Cons

  The lengthening effect is a bit lacking. But that's okay for me since I bought the lengthening one to avoid volume. + 10/22 Since using this product, I've been experiencing itchiness at the inner corners of my eyes. Not sure if it's because of this product or seasonal allergies, will keep monitoring. + 11/04 The itchiness at the inner corners turned out to be allergies. However, the more I use this product, the more I feel like it's causing eye irritation. When I apply it, my eyes feel much drier than usual, and on days when I'm not feeling my best, they even sting. While I like how it holds the curl and looks natural when applied well, I'm deducting one star for this reason.

  Tip

  Make sure to wipe off excess product at the tube opening before applying. If there's too much product on the brush, it can clump.
