Pros
At the hair and makeup shop, they mixed a little of this product into my foundation and applied it, and it went on so moisturizing and well that I immediately asked what the product was and bought it right away haha. It's an incredibly high-concentration nourishing cream, so in a way it's a jack-of-all-trades. If you apply it to your lips and wipe it off with a wet tissue 10 minutes later, all the flaky skin will disappear, and if you mix a little into your moisturizer and apply it, you can get an incredibly moisturized finish!
Cons
It seems like a lot of people would have trouble with how strongly scented this product is. I don't think the scent is that bad, but when I wear it, my family really dislikes how strong it is lol. Also, even when you only apply a small amount, you might feel like it makes your skin look really shiny and greasy.
Tip
Just mix a tiny bit into another moisturizer and apply it! If you leave it on your lips for 10 minutes, the flaky skin will disappear and your lips will become super moisturized.

It's so moisturizing! It helps to subdue all the dead skin. I've been mixing it with a moisturizer only when my skin gets really dry.

Spreadability: It can be applied by slowly melting and applying it in small amounts. It works well when mixed with lotion and applied to dry areas. It was particularly effective on my dry cheeks and lips!! When applying to the cheeks, mix it with lotion and pat it in gently, and by the next morning, your skin will be soft and supple! And for the lips, apply it before bed and again before makeup in the morning, and the flaky skin will disappear! These days, my face is less dry, so I've been applying it to my elbows and heels before fully transitioning to summer clothes. The moisturizing and regenerative effects seem to be quite effective!

I've been using this item every fall and winter for 3 years now. I stop using it from April to September, but then the amount I have left is still too much..ㅠ I can't use it all up within a year, so I end up throwing away the leftovers and buying a new one every fall. When you melt and apply it gently, this is the most moisturizing product I've found. It's a complete ointment formula, and it works great not just on the face but on any area with peeling skin. It's a champion at calming down peeling skin.^^ I've tried about 3 similar ointment-type products like the Po*Cream, but I always end up coming back to the Eight Hour Cream. It's just so good!
Cons
- I don't think oily-skinned people should use this at all. I have extremely oily skin, so it's perfect for me, but for oily skin types, it would probably feel way too greasy even in the winter. - The large amount makes it hard to use it all up, that's true. But they do have a half-size version as well. - I just found out from Hwahae that the ingredients aren't great..ㅠ It's been deceiving me all this time.. But I'm still going to stick with it.^^; - The scent isn't great when you first smell it.^^ I've gotten used to it now, but first-time users may find it off-putting. They do have an unscented version, though.
Tip
If the scent really bothers you, you can mix it with another product before applying. That helps reduce the strong smell a bit. Mixing it also helps reduce the super greasy feeling. It works wonderfully on dry areas all over the body.^^

When applied generously and left on overnight, it's like using a face pack - the next day, my makeup applies well and my flaky skin is greatly reduced. The moisturizing effect is excellent.

Even in the summer, I have extremely dry skin and use oil, so I mix this product into all my cosmetics and apply it. Just a small amount is enough, and it doesn't cause any peeling.
