There's absolutely nothing bad to say! It's insanely beautiful and I want to recommend it to everyone!

1. Color: Wow, the color is everything here. Nothing else matters - it's a total knockout. It's a sort of almond shade with flecks of gold shimmer. It's just unbelievably beautiful. I fell in love at first swatch and bought it immediately. I actually wanted the holiday edition, but it was sold out... So I got the original, but I think either choice would be fantastic.

2. Application: Maybe because it's a shimmer, it applies with a slightly moisturizing feel? It's like when you lightly dampen flour and it compresses a bit - that kind of texture.

3. Pigmentation: The base color is a brown with a hint of red, but the gold shimmer neutralizes the redness. I can confidently say this is the prettiest brown eyeshadow I've ever owned. It's such a stunner in person that it's a shame photos can't fully capture its beauty.

4. Longevity: Often with this type of shadow, the base color fades away leaving just some shimmer behind. But somehow, this one stays put - both the base and shimmer - looking freshly applied all day long.

5. Fallout: Whether it's shimmer or glitter, you usually have to brace yourself for some fallout when sparkle is involved. But surprisingly, there's very little fallout with this one. Honestly, this is the second best thing about it after the color.

It's great for everyday use and I'd recommend it for those new to darker eyeshadows. Also, it pairs well with the 'Almond Cupcake' shade!

The case is like castanets - Skinfood's big picture for palette sales, haha. There's some excess powder fallout and it can clump a bit. The issue is that these shades are meant to be applied over a large area, so if it goes on patchy, it's a hassle to fix.

When applying makeup, it looks sophisticated when used on the outer corners of the eyes. I love the subtle shimmer too. Although the shimmer isn't very noticeable in natural light, the color is absolutely gorgeous! Plus, I appreciate that the shimmer isn't too white or stark, which can make you look older if applied incorrectly.

It's quite a bit darker than I expected... I mainly use it for accent points only!

This eyeshadow really shines when you apply it lightly to the outer corners of your eyes. It's a rich brown shade with beautiful shimmer that creates a stunning effect.
