I've been using this consistently since middle school, and among acne patches, Acwin is definitely the best. It's excellent for calming blemishes. The patches are thin and come in a good size, which I really appreciate. The adhesion isn't great when wearing makeup, so it's best to apply them when you're staying in or before bed. Works wonders on small bumps or pimples that are just about to become inflamed. - 51*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 2, 2023
This product seems ideal for applying to blemishes before they fully develop or burst. It's the thinnest among acne patches I've tried. When applied right after cleansing, it adheres well, even on contoured areas, without lifting. The patches are glossy, oval-shaped, and the largest among acne patches. However, they're so thin that once applied, the size surprisingly doesn't bother you. Unlike hydrocolloid patches, it doesn't draw out white pus from mature blemishes, suggesting it's more for soothing early-stage blemishes. - mi******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2023
This is absolutely amazing... I think I've been using it since middle school. It's been about 12 years now, hasn't it? I'm currently buying it online, and I've settled on one place where I exclusively purchase it (Skin'ae official store). I keep buying it as soon as I run out. Sometimes it even extracts sebum, and if you apply it to areas where you've squeezed blackheads or have inflammation, it calms them down! Just remember to remove it before washing your face. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it except for the price, haha! For smaller areas, try cutting the patches with scissors to use them more efficiently! - in*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2020
I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin. While I don't get many blemishes, they do pop up frequently. Why I tried it: I saw on YouTube that the ingredients in patches for before and after squeezing pimples are different. You're supposed to use them separately, but I didn't know and always used spot patches both before and after squeezing. Apparently, that can be irritating and not good, so I decided to give these a try. Calming effect: Wearing the patch keeps you from touching the area, preventing further irritation and protecting it from dust and environmental factors. After two months of use, I can say it has a soothing effect. Most pimples seemed to subside. Value for money: The value is really great. It's affordable and comes with a lot of patches, so one purchase lasts for months. Adhesion: You need to apply it to dry skin. It doesn't stick well to skin with toner or emulsion on it. If you use it on clean, dry skin after washing your face, it stays on for a long time. It's so transparent that I didn't even notice it was still on when I washed my face in the evening! While thin and transparent, it doesn't conceal blemishes. From my experience, if a pimple doesn't subside with this spot patch, even after a few days of use, it won't go away on its own. For these stubborn blemishes, I recommend getting them extracted at a dermatologist instead of squeezing them yourself, as they can worsen or leave scars. People with frequent or severe blemishes might not see results with this spot patch. In those cases, medical treatment might be necessary. I'd recommend this for people who don't get blemishes often or have mild cases. Hydrocolloid patches are for after you've squeezed a pimple (think of the typical white, raised spot patches). Salicylic acid and tea tree oil patches are for before squeezing. I learned this from a pharmacist's video. They didn't recommend specific products, so I thought this information might be helpful. It's not directly related to this patch, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2020
When I feel a blemish coming on, I stick this on before bed and it's gone by morning. I've been using it for years. The large size can be an advantage, but it's too big to wear during the day in public. There's a peach-colored version of this product that seems more potent. I use it occasionally for larger inflammations. Also, applying it over a wider area around the blemish definitely improves its effectiveness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2020
When a blemish appears, applying this patch brings it to a perfect state for extraction. The patch either draws out the sebum on its own, or you can gently remove it with a cotton swab, and the blemish comes out! It's great because it extracts blemishes painlessly and without irritation. I suppose you could say it's somewhat see-through... Emerging blemishes often have blackheads trapped in the middle, which get pressed down and appear as distinct dots. (This might just be me) The blackheads don't come out. For best results, apply the patch to clean, dry skin without any other products! - sk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2020
Ever since I discovered this, I'm not afraid of blemishes anymore! When I apply it to areas with small pustules or other types of acne, by the next day, more than half of it has subsided. If it doesn't seem to be improving, I'll take a short break for an hour or two and then reapply. Eventually, it always disappears! I've bought so many that I'm practically covered in these stickers. It works better than most patches out there. It contains tea tree extract, which has made me more interested in tea tree products. I wish they would remove the skin-irritating ingredients. Sometimes the area where I apply it turns red. I bought both the apricot and transparent patches. I use the apricot ones on days when I wear makeup, and the transparent ones when I'm not wearing any. From my experience, the apricot ones seem to be more effective. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2019
It's discreet, and by the time you peel it off in the evening, the blemishes have come to a head and are removed along with the patch. They disappear quickly! It's a bit difficult to remove and there's some irritation when peeling it off... - kj******Dry SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2019
The only positive thing I can say is that one patch is big enough for a large blemish. Other than that, there's not much to praise. When I wear these at work, they easily come off when I sweat. Although they're supposed to be transparent, the glossy surface makes them quite noticeable. As for their effectiveness in treating blemishes, it's not as impressive as other products I've tried. Overall, this was a disappointing purchase. I'd recommend looking into other products instead of this one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2019
It's convenient, effective, and offers incredible value for money. For those of us living with blemishes, we really spend a lot on patches. I'm quite disappointed with the size and shape. It's so much better when patches have an attractive design.
