  The color payoff is definitely there! It applies smoothly and the staying power is decent.

  Pros

  I bought this after hearing it's a go-to contouring product for many. The shade 23 wasn't bad for my use.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it was my cleansing routine or an issue with the product (this contour was the only new item in my routine), but I developed a line of blemishes exactly where I applied it. I had to throw it away before using even half of it.

  Tip

  The color payoff is quite strong, so beginners should be careful not to overdo it. Tap off excess product from the brush before contouring.

  There's absolutely nothing good to say about this product. Seriously, I can't think of a single positive thing.

  Cons

  After using this, my jawline broke out in blemishes. I'm so frustrated with this product... Sure, it might work well for more people, but if you have oily skin with clogged pores and some acne like me, I strongly advise against it. I had the same reaction to Etude's Jo Hyo-jin shading product. I wish I knew how to avoid these problematic shading products. Oh, and the excess powder fallout is absolutely terrible!

  Pros

  I started my contouring journey with the beloved Too Cool For School shading product. While I can't compare it to others, it applies so naturally and seems to last forever! The leather edition comes with a small brush, making it super convenient to carry around.

  Cons

  In the beginning, I experienced some blemishes and redness with itching around my jawline where I applied the contour. I'm not sure if it was caused by the product, but after some time and using soothing skincare, it got better and didn't happen again.

  Tip

  The key is controlling the amount you use. If you apply too much, it can look unnatural. Try tapping the brush a couple of times after picking up the product to remove excess.

  I tried this because it's famous, but I think I need to use it a bit longer to really tell. I liked that it came with a brush.

  When it comes to contouring, nothing beats Too Cool for School! With three shades available, it's perfect for creating beautiful shadows and depth.

  Cons

  I washed the contouring brush before use, but every time I applied the contour, a blemish would appear in that area. My skin is sensitive, so that could be why, but it was especially noticeable along my jawline. It's disappointing that I can't contour as much as I'd like because of this.

  I've been using this for years since it's known as the 'people's choice' for contouring. It's generally decent.

  Maybe because I have cool undertones, but it turns a bit reddish on me, so I'm not a fan. Definitely not recommended for cool-toned skin! I used this for my graduation photos and it looked really off.

  This iconic contouring product lives up to its reputation as a true essential. Although I couldn't finish it due to breakage, it's a satisfying product. Even beginners or those new to contouring can use it without difficulty.
