The scent is pleasant and it gives a nice, clean feeling. I saw other reviews mentioning that the leaves made it feel rough, but I don't think it's that bad. It lathers up well. Considering the volume, it seems like it will last a long time. However, it might still be irritating for those with super sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend it for morning cleansing. It's best for removing makeup as a second cleanse. - pi******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2022
It lathers up richly even with a small amount. The container fits comfortably in your hand and has a luxurious feel. To be honest, there's nothing bad to say. I'm supposed to write at least 20 characters, but I can't really find fault. The paper box is quite unique, though! The container is too nice to throw away. I'll definitely use it to carry shampoo or conditioner when traveling. - pu********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 3, 2022
First of all, I loved the scent. There's also a smaller size available, which was perfect for keeping fresh during business trips. The cleansing effectiveness was great, removing most makeup easily. On days with heavy eye makeup, I used cleansing pads to wipe it off. Being gel-based, it lathered well, making my morning cleanse feel hydrating and pleasant. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this was probably what I appreciated most about it. It contains rooibos, which I thought was fine as a gentle exfoliant. However, if you have super sensitive skin, you might want to use a foam net. That said, the rooibos pieces aren't as harsh as dried tea leaves, so using it directly probably won't cause blemishes. Even when my skin was extremely oily, I'd roll it directly on my face (especially the T-zone) while washing, and I didn't experience any irritation. For rich lather, use a foam net. If you're not too concerned about foam, just squeeze some into your hands, add a bit of water, and the gel will dissolve easily. - mo**********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2019
The gel-type formula is gentle on the skin with good ingredients, making it comfortable to use. I love the product's scent, which lifts my mood every time I cleanse. It lathers well and doesn't leave my face feeling tight after use, so I mainly use it in the morning. There are dried rooibos tea leaves in the product, which can be irritating when rubbed on the face, so I always remove them. I'm not sure why they were included in the first place. - fr*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2019
I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product. It doesn't irritate my face and has a pleasant scent. The foam production is just right, and I'm really pleased that it includes rooibos tea leaves for a gentle exfoliation effect. The texture is slightly gel-like, so if you don't lather it up quickly, it can slip out of your hands sometimes. Gently roll it in your palms, apply it to your face, and continue with soft circular motions. Using a cleansing brush works well too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 3, 2017
First off, the scent is lovely. The cleansing effectiveness is great, and it produces a rich lather. When I first used it, I felt some tightness after washing, but after a few days, that sensation disappeared. My skin tends to develop small bumps if I just change cleansers, so I've been sticking to the same product for a while. But I switched to this one, and the more I use it, the more I like it. I'm planning to repurchase it. The texture is a bit too thick, which makes it somewhat inconvenient to use. You have to squeeze the tube quite hard to get the product out. Also, if you don't immediately lather it with wet hands, it comes out in clumps. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 26, 2017
The texture is delightfully bouncy, like jelly. Perhaps due to the rooibos leaves inside, it seems to manage even the finest dead skin cells during cleansing. I always used this product for deep cleansing in the evening. The formula is quite thick, so at first, the lather might feel a bit stiff, but as you gradually add water, the foam becomes softer. I tend to take my time cleansing, adding water and massaging, then adding more water and massaging again. After cleansing, my skin feels both hydrated and refreshed! It's definitely a product I'd like to repurchase. The formula can be a bit tricky to handle. You need to quickly spread it in your hands, otherwise it tends to fall off in clumps. Also, the amount is less than I expected. Even though I used it alternately with other cleansers and it lasted a while, if I were to use this exclusively, I think I'd run out in less than a month. If you're looking for rich lather from the start, try using a foam net for cleansing. I found that if you apply the foam and leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing, your skin feels incredibly hydrated.
