I bought this as a replacement for the Kate Slim Gel Pencil Eyeliner, but I'm disappointed with how it applies and its color payoff. It feels like you need to apply multiple layers for it to show up.

It seems great for creating a natural makeup look. It has a vibe that pairs well with autumn makeup.

At first it's fine, but as you use it, the formula becomes too soft, causing it to break and smudge easily. I repurchased it once, but I don't think I've ever used up a whole pencil completely because it keeps breaking. Just now, when I tried to swatch it for a photo, it broke again. So frustrating!

This was my introduction to eyeliners. It's so easy to use and simple to fix if you make a mistake, making it great for beginners. The color payoff is decent too, which is why I repurchased it.

It breaks easily, unfortunately. Due to its thinness, it snaps with just a little pressure. Sometimes I thought I was using it fine, only to find it broken inside. It often gets smudged during use too. Sadly, it doesn't last long. Not sure if it's because it breaks easily or because the amount is small, but you need to buy a new one quite soon. The staying power is... well, quite short. Especially if you get in water, it disappears instantly!

It's so easy to use! Because it's thin, you can draw fine lines without worrying about thickness. Even if you make a mistake, you can quickly erase it by rubbing and redraw. So convenient!

For best results, control oil on the eyelids with a no-sebum powder, apply the eyeliner, then set it again. This prevents smudging and improves longevity!

I really love this! It's so thin that even someone with clumsy hands can easily draw with it. The twist mechanism is sturdy, so it probably won't break if you drop it. I thought it might snap quickly because it's so slim, but the core is surprisingly durable!

Like other skinny liners, when you twist the end to extend the lead, be careful not to overdo it. Sometimes if you extend it too much, you can't retract it. Don't push it trying to check how much is left. Since these thin eyeliners tend to wear down very quickly, it's a good idea to always keep a spare on hand. If you find yourself in a pinch where you've used it all up and don't have a backup, you can try forcibly pulling out the front part of the liner as a last resort. It might just save you in an emergency!

While I adored the color, there was something that really frustrated me about this product. I'm not sure if it was just me, but the formula seemed too soft. Usually, with auto-type products like eyeliners or eyebrow pencils, I expect to need a few strokes for the first application before the color comes out well, and I adjust my pressure accordingly. However, when I first tried it on the back of my hand, it crumbled immediately. Then, when I twisted up more of the pencil and tried to apply it to my eyes, it crumbled again. This kept happening no matter how much I adjusted. In the end, I couldn't use it properly even once. I'm so glad I bought it during the buy-one-get-one-free promotion. If I had paid full price... On the other hand, the Chocolate Bonbon shade didn't have this issue at all. I wonder if the consistency varies depending on the color. Chocolate Bonbon actually felt a bit stiff for an eyeliner. To sum up: Song-i Song-i Chestnut - Light brown, extremely soft lead. Chocolate Bonbon - Standard brown, somewhat hard lead for an eyeliner.

Everyone's preferences differ, but I absolutely loved the color! I bought this shade and Chocolate Bonbon during a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Personally, I found it gave a softer impression since it wasn't an overly bright reddish-brown.

These days there are many gel-type or soft liners that apply color smoothly, but this one is too stiff. I bought it hoping to fill in my lashes because it's thin, but it's so rigid that it doesn't fill well, leaving gaps in the line.
