 It's important to be careful not to contaminate the jar-type container. While a spatula is provided, it still needs to be wiped clean each time it's used.

 I knew that Anna Sui was good at primers, but... After using it again after a long time, I'm really impressed. A long time ago, I bought and used a different primer from Anna Sui, and that was also good, but this pudding primer is the real deal.

The color is a light apricot (skin tone), and when applied, it lifts the tone by about half a shade. It's not as much as a tone-up cream product, but it makes the skin look slightly brighter and more refined. The product description didn't mention it, but it also has a slight sun protection function (SPF24 PA++). I was originally planning to apply sunscreen and then this on top, but except for the height of summer, I think just applying this one product will be enough, which is even better!

The texture is something like a jelly-type with a flowing feel, and it's a shape-memory formula, so even after applying it, over time it flattens back out to look brand new.
The feeling of applying it to the skin is like spreading a moisturizing gel, but it's not that it stays constantly moisturizing, rather it has a taut, fitting sensation on the skin's surface.

It's not like the silicone-coated, powdery feel that's common in other pore primers from other brands. But it's also not like an essence either. It finishes with a taut, film-like effect, almost like a thin veil over the face. Even though there are no pearls in it, it has a glossy sheen.

It can't perfectly fill or erase pores and unevenness, but the smooth coating (?) effect makes the foundation or cushion applied on top adhere incredibly well... The makeup-enhancing effect is definite. And its true value becomes apparent over time... the makeup really lasts an incredibly long time.

Even when wearing makeup for over 8 hours, the base doesn't break down nearly as much compared to normal. And there's a subtle glow that comes through the cushion, making the skin look radiant and healthy (not a shiny, wet look, but a subtle porcelain-like glow).

It's clearly a product made for the hot, humid climate of Japan... the effect of keeping the makeup looking pristine and long-lasting is far superior to the other primers I've used before. Since I have oily skin, in the summer Even when I do a full face of makeup, the T-zone makeup starts to wear off within an hour or two, but this product seems like it'll be really great for the summer.

The Anna Sui signature design, the vintage-style black jar, is also cute, and the subtle rose scent is nice too.^^ The jar looks small, but given the product's nature of being applied thinly all over the face, it should last a long time. 
I really like this primer, it's almost a holy grail product for me... When I finish this, I'll definitely repurchase!

I've been using it despite thinking about the questionable ingredients, as I really like its functional performance.
I've applied a couple of other products with not-so-great ingredients as well.
You need to be careful about the spatula and external dust.
It's a bit burdensome to just dip your finger in if you're in a hurry.

It has great glide and adherence, giving a natural tone-up effect. The primer also fills in pores well, which is why I picked it.
Even a small amount provides overall coverage.
Those who haven't properly prepared their base or have extremely dry skin may want to use a bit more.
It has a bouncy, pink mayo-like feel, and I'm using it without feeling any irritation.

Just a small amount goes a long way when you spread it out evenly!

The price is a bit steep :( There's also a learning curve when first using the product, as the unfamiliar texture can be tricky to apply without clumping.

It clings to the face like a dream, with incredible adhesive power and a beautiful, natural skin tone from Anna Sui. The jelly-like texture is amazingly bouncy, and you only need to use a tiny amount. It works great as a tone-up cream too! I always scrape the bottom of the jar and repurchase this holy grail product.
