Usually, products with this consistency tend to evaporate quickly, leaving my skin feeling dry, but I didn't experience that with this one. It had a decent calming effect on my skin too. As for the scent, it's fragrance-free. Some unscented products have a medicinal smell, but the Tosowoong Propolis Bright Essence truly had no scent at all. I really liked that. The value for money is decent, and it's nice to be able to use a generous amount without feeling wasteful. It's just... okay. It's so affordable! It's rare to find a functional skincare product at this price point. The value is truly exceptional. Plus, it has both whitening and anti-wrinkle benefits. For an essence, it's a bit sticky. It's not a watery formula, so while it's not overly tacky, it does seem to absorb a bit slower than I'd like. Recommended for oily skin types. The formula is low in oil and has a moisturizing texture that absorbs well. You can apply a generous amount before bed to maintain hydration throughout the night. It's incredibly hydrating and feels amazing to use! It seems to really help with blemishes and doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin at all! It's a bit light? For my combination dehydrated skin, this essence alone doesn't seem quite enough! This is fantastic for those with dry skin like mine - it's wonderfully hydrating! It helps smooth out those tiny bumps on the skin. In the morning, my skin feels silky smooth to the touch. It can cause makeup, especially foundation, to look patchy. I only apply it generously at night for hydration. Nothing special to add. Just make sure to apply a generous amount. First off, the value for money is insane! When I go on short summer trips, like overnight stays, I only pack toner pads and this. After using an exfoliating toner, I layer this on 2-3 times, and it leaves my skin incredibly hydrated! I bought this at a great price during an event on the official Tosowoong website. I purchased it because propolis ingredients work well for me, and compared to ampoules, this has a much better volume and hydration level. It seems less effective at soothing inflammation than propolis ampoules. However, it's not quite enough to use as a hydrating gel either. I found it uncomfortable as it forms a film and feels sticky when it dries.
