It provides just the right amount of brightening and is perfect for days when you want to look a bit more radiant! While it's moisturizing, there's also a slightly dry feeling? And it has a bit of a rich texture! I usually use a green-based primer, but a friendly store associate gave me this lavender one to try, and I'm loving it! When I haven't slept well and my face looks dull, this not only brightens my complexion but also evens out my skin tone. I was worried that using a makeup base might make my foundation break down faster or look patchy, but that's not the case at all with this one. In fact, I'm tempted to buy the full-size product. The 10ml sample I received is quite generous, so I'm saving it for special occasions! There's nothing really bad to say... As a student, the price of the full-size product is a bit steep for me. I've been using Innisfree's green makeup base, but I have to admit Laneige's product quality is slightly better. I love it! I keep using this one exclusively. However, if you don't moisturize well beforehand, it can feel a bit dry. Still, the difference between wearing it and not is so dramatic that I always make sure to apply it. When I use it before foundation, it makes the foundation look less cakey and more natural. Also, it's convenient that you can see how much product is left in the bottle. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'm just filling up the 20-character requirement... It applies lightly, leaving your complexion fresh and radiant. The texture is great - it adheres well without feeling slippery or greasy. It even covers pores around the nose area. I dislike feeling suffocated by heavy makeup, so I love using just this product. It offers sun protection and all the benefits mentioned above, which is fantastic. It absorbs really well and seems to even out my skin tone a bit. Within less than two hours of application, my makeup starts to separate. I heard from an Aritaum store employee that Chinese tourists stock up on this product when they visit Korea! While it's on the pricier side, it does an excellent job of evening out the skin tone. It's pleasantly moisturizing and gives my complexion a lovely radiant look when applied. A little goes a long way, so I expect this product to last quite a while. None whatsoever... No visible tone correction effect. Causes dryness, tightness, and accentuates fine lines. Feels suffocating. Makeup breaks down faster than with other brands or even without a base. Didn't even use it for a week before tossing it out. Laneige products often surprise me with their hidden potential! The light purple base beautifully brightens the complexion. It creates exactly the level of radiance I hoped for from a purple base. It's especially effective at combating dullness around the mouth area. This is my go-to makeup base when I want to look elegantly beautiful. Unlike many drugstore bases that cater to oily skin and leave my dry skin parched, this one applies smoothly without flaking if I let my skincare absorb fully first. While it's not ultra-hydrating, it doesn't dry me out either. I've only been using it for a short time, and a little goes a long way, so I haven't repurchased yet. But I plan to buy it again once I finish this bottle. It can pill if you don't prep your skin properly. But isn't that just the fate of dry skin types? (sigh of resignation) Also, don't use this alone. It works best as a primer under your foundation or BB cream, helping them last longer with less darkening. If you wear it by itself, it'll disappear quickly, leaving you with a dry, patchy face. I avoid applying it right next to my nose as that area tends to pill easily. A small amount (one pump) is plenty - don't feel compelled to use up excess product all over your face! Apply it only where you need that brightening effect, pat it in gently with a cushion, then layer your usual base makeup on top for best results.
