I'm applying this as the final step in my serum routine, as it's supposed to help with wrinkles and elasticity.
ConsIt's a bit rich for summer, so I only use it at night, applying a thin layer on my face and neck. If I use it in the morning, my makeup might not sit well.
TipI've noticed that when I mix a small amount of my Rejuran cream with this, it gives a nice, firmer texture.

In short, it's problematic skin. During my menstrual cycle, my skin becomes a mess, then miraculously clears up at certain times - it's as unpredictable as a rollercoaster. Finding suitable cosmetics feels like searching for a needle in a haystack - that's how sensitive and troublesome my skin is. This product, being a cell turnover solution, seemed perfect for my wildly fluctuating skin. I applied for The Hwahae Testers and was lucky enough to win on my first try, giving me the chance to use this high-end ampoule. I received the product and immediately used it that evening after cleansing. I patted on my usual IOPE Repair Skin, then applied the ampoule. While some found the syringe-like applicator inconvenient, it was actually quite useful for someone like me who struggles with portion control. The instructions suggest drawing up to the marked line, but when I applied it to my face, it seemed a bit excessive. The texture is viscous and clear, reminiscent of snail cream. There's a distinct scent, but it's not artificial - it's quite subtle, which is great for someone like me who often breaks out due to fragrances. When applied, you feel a strong surge of hydration, but it doesn't absorb quickly like a water-based essence. Instead, it leaves a slightly slick feeling on the skin. Thinking it might be due to its high concentration, I cupped my hands over my face for 3-4 minutes to heat it up, as I'd heard this helps deeper absorption of key ingredients. After the ampoule, I applied IOPE Derma Repair Cream, though I wondered if it would even penetrate given the ampoule's strong texture. Then off to bed... Now, two weeks later... I've finally experienced what a true 'turnover' product feels like, after trying several others that claimed the same effect. 1. My skin texture has become firmer. 2. My complexion has evened out to a healthier tone (it used to be quite blotchy). 3. The scars from frequent blemishes have significantly faded. My skin used to show visible damage and sagging due to frequent blemishes, dehydration, and enlarged pores in the T-zone. Now, it feels stronger. I finally understand what it means to strengthen the skin barrier... It truly optimizes skin condition. I gave a bottle to my mother to try, and after just a week, she was amazed at how much her skin tone improved. She's older and rarely notices effects from skincare, but she was full of praise for this. I definitely plan to purchase this when I run out!
ConsWhile some complained about not being able to see the contents, I thought perhaps the key ingredients might be light-sensitive. If I had to point out a downside, it's that despite feeling rich and heavy, it didn't fully resolve deep dryness. Of course, this might be more noticeable to me due to my extremely dry skin, but I noticed some others felt the same. While the ampoule excels at its primary functions of cell turnover and regeneration, don't expect too much in terms of moisturizing power. And then there's the price... I know turnover products are generally pricier than other skincare items, likely due to their high-end ingredients. But as a parent of two, it's not a price point that allows for daily use without hesitation.
TipThe texture is heavier than expected. You don't necessarily need to use as much as the marked line on the dropper - it spreads well enough to cover the entire face with less. After applying the ampoule, it's good to warm it with your hands for 3-4 minutes to aid absorption, and then wait a while before applying other skincare products. If you have dry skin like me, follow the ampoule with a hydrating sheet mask or a moisturizing cream to achieve both regeneration and hydration.
