I can't use this to remove my full makeup, so I first use a gentler cleansing milk to take off my makeup, and then do a second cleanse with this. That works great for me:)

😅It has a sort of grainy, cereal-like scent, which I've gotten used to after using it for so long, but it was a bit off-putting at first. Those sensitive to fragrance may find it irritating.

This is the cleansing product I've been using with confidence for years, even though I have extremely sensitive skin.
My cheeks are dry (dry in winter, dry in summer), my forehead is normal (normal in winter, oily in summer), and my nose is oily - I have a sensitive, combination complexion.
I've tried all the cleansers that people recommend, but I could never shake the feeling of my cheeks feeling tight or my pores feeling overly dry. But with this Appa Soap, I don't have that issue at all, and I've been using it for about 4 years now.

😀Even someone as extremely sensitive as me can use it without issue.
(When I tried switching to a different cleanser, I suddenly got a bunch of small pimples on the center of my forehead. But when I went back to using the Appa Soap, those pimples disappeared within 3 days!)

I think the biggest pro is that it's such a gentle cleanser. I've tried all the popular cleansers out there, but the Appa Soap is still the best for me.

If you make a rich lather with the cleansing net and massage for about 3 minutes, your skin will be even more moisturized, refreshed, and soothed.

The cleansing power is weak, so I have to double cleanse with another product to remove my makeup.

It's more moisturizing than Deep Clean. Even though I have dry skin, my face didn't feel too tight after cleansing.
It's just okay when I just wash, but when I make lather with the cleansing net and massage, my skin becomes even more moisturized, and my occasional large pimples also calm down a lot!
It's gentler and more moisturizing than other cleansing products, so I keep using it.

Not really a downside, but the natural ingredients don't create as much lather.

In the morning, it gently removes oil and refines skin texture and complexion, so makeup applies better. I have sensitive skin, but no breakouts occur, and it's great. In the summer, my skin gets oily often, and makeup didn't apply well, so I tried this and it's good.

I haven't used it much yet, but the smell is not great.

After washing my face, I feel refreshed and my acne disappears.
