I just applied it with a sponge puff and it adhered nicely to my skin with decent coverage! It's about a shade 23 in brightness, and I'm thinking of repurchasing the petal color next time!
ConsIt seems to have less staying power compared to other products! And it's not completely pink-based, but rather closer to a neutral tone. It had a stronger yellow undertone than I expected.

I didn't use to wear makeup every day, but I used it quite often, and it lasted for about a year, I think. It was very generous, and even a small amount could cover my entire face. 👉🏻Adherence/Spreadability It really blended into my skin so well. After applying this foundation, many people asked me what foundation I was using, as it looked so natural. It wasn't at all cakey, and it spread on smoothly and moisturized my skin. Even though I have combination skin, it seemed to apply well everywhere. 👉🏻Staying Power This Espoir foundation doesn't require powder, and it melts into the skin over time, which I found to look very natural. At some point, it becomes hard to tell if you're wearing makeup or not - it just blends in seamlessly. I was impressed that it didn't cake or flake off. 👉🏻Shade Range One of the great things about the Espoir foundation is the wide range of shades. I bought the tan shade when I had just gotten a bit of a tan, and it matched my skin tone perfectly. It brightened my complexion without looking too pink or ashy. It was just the right balance.
Cons👉🏻Staying Power Since I have combination skin with a lot of oil in my T-zone, as time passed, my forehead and nose would start to look shiny and oily, and I'd have to keep blotting it. I'm not sure if it's just my application technique, but without powder, it always ended up looking greasy later on.
TipThe foundation applies really well when I put it on right after cleansing in the morning. Also, if I use a moisturizing essence or cream beforehand to hydrate my skin, the Espoir foundation looks even better and lasts longer. But definitely don't forget the powder - that's really important for making it stay in place!

The color matches my #22 skin tone perfectly. The foundation is not heavy, it's light and naturally brightens my skin, so it's not uncomfortable to apply. It's a runny formula, but when I spread it on my face and pat it with a puff, it adheres immediately. For my very oily skin, it's not as matte as a semi-matte, but I need to set it with powder at the end for better longevity.
ConsWhen I go to school, I get really busy and sometimes I don't powder, which I hate because my forehead and nose get really oily. It wasn't as semi-matte as I expected, but that's probably due to my skin type. Also, the runny formula dries up quickly if I squeeze some out on the back of my hand and work on other areas, so it's better to dispense a little at a time and pat it on quickly.
TipNon-silicone foundations are probably popular among oily-skinned people, but even if you use this alone, it won't be super matte. Make sure to have a good skincare routine and definitely set it with powder at the end!

My skin is not too fair or too dark, but if I had to pick, it's a little on the darker side. The tone matches my skin well.
ConsIn terms of gentle ingredients, there is a slight disappointment in that aspect.

I think the biggest advantage of this foundation is that the shade is almost identical to my sunscreen-applied skin tone. Many others have also said that the color of this foundation is so pretty, so I really recommend that you 22-23 cool-toned ladies try it out - it will be a perfect match!! What surprised me even more was that I haven't tried applying it with a foundation brush, but I used a damp sponge and the coverage was incredible. And for me, the formula felt really lightweight - it almost felt like I didn't have anything on.
ConsI didn't notice much darkening, and the longevity was decent - I was out for 9 hours and had 2 drinks, and the only issue was that the area around my nose got a bit patchy. But other than that, the longevity was pretty good. +On a rainy day, I applied this foundation and was out for 3 hours, and when I checked in the mirror, the coverage on my nose had completely worn off, and there were foundation marks on the sides of my glasses. Since I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone, it seems to cling and get patchy in that area for me. Next time, I'll try using a lighter base and adding more coverage.

It helps to smooth out the skin texture when used as a base, and when applied on top, it gives a natural-looking finish that I really like!
ConsIt can be slightly matte, so it might work better for oily skin types rather than dry skin. The occasional caking is a bit of a downside..!
TipJust make sure to apply a moisturizer first and smooth out the skin texture, and you can get a beautiful, natural and clean application with this foundation:)!

It has good adhesion and I think it would be good for dry skin types to use in the summer as well.
ConsIn the winter, dry skin types need to establish a strong skincare routine, otherwise there is a high probability of the makeup separating over time. It doesn't seem to apply thinly.

I'm a dark 23 shade, and the employee recommended this color, which doesn't differ much from my neck color, which was great. I'll recommend this to others in the 23 shade!
ConsIt seems that as winter approaches, my skin is being affected more by the outdoor weather. At home, my base makeup feels moisturized and applies well, but when I go out and look in the mirror, I notice my nose sides and cheek area start to look a bit lifted. By the way, I have an oily skin type. So it seems like using a more moisturizing version would be better in the winter.
TipFor those who have already purchased the product, it would be good to strengthen your base skincare routine in the winter. However, be careful not to use a base that is too thick, as it can cause your makeup to slip. Have a beautiful makeup day!

I have always been loyal to foundation and used Guerlain Gold products, but then I heard good reviews about Estée Lauder Double Wear, so I visited the store, tested it, and started using it. I have never been this satisfied with other brand products before. What I liked was that it goes on dewy at first, just like Guerlain, but then dries down to a matte finish, and the coverage looks seamless and adheres well to the skin.
ConsThe downside is the shade. If I apply the Tan P shade a bit heavily, it ends up looking a bit too orange-toned and tacky, rather than a nice pink-based shade... When I spread it out evenly, the color does become more sheer, but the Tan P shade itself is not the most beautiful foundation color, so I often mix it with Guerlain.
