As someone who enjoys matte lipsticks, this one isn't matte but rather leans towards being moisturizing. It doesn't fill in lip lines, so I apply it with my lips stretched out and then blend with my fingers or by gently pressing my lips together. However, this can cause the lip line to blur, resulting in a smudged look. If you like overlining your lips, this might not be an issue, but if you prefer a precise, matte application within your lip lines, you might not be thrilled with this.
