1. It seems to suit my skin well. Since I started using this, my blemishes have significantly reduced. 2. It appears to be great for oily skin. When I only apply water-based essences, my skin feels a bit dry, and when I use regular emulsions or creams, they feel a bit heavy. This product seems to strike just the right balance. 3. It's not sticky and absorbs well into the skin. 4. Among all the emulsions (creams) I've used so far, this one seems to be the most compatible with my skin. 1. The quantity is too small. 2. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'm very satisfied and will likely continue using it in the future. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2020
There's no scent at all, and it has a slightly thick texture. As you massage it in, your skin becomes soft and smooth while the product absorbs nicely, leaving it moisturized. It claims to moisturize and soothe the skin, but while it doesn't seem to cause blemishes, it doesn't necessarily prevent them either. It feels like a very average product overall. - ru********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 28, 2020
Great for combination dehydrated skin in summer! It's versatile enough for year-round use when paired with other skincare products. Even family members with blemish-prone skin are using it successfully. No complaints! I'm always satisfied with Isoi cosmetics due to their good ingredients and gentle formulations. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2020
Great for layering flexibly depending on the season. When you need some extra hydration after a while, spritz on a mist and it absorbs beautifully. Unfortunately, it's not very popular with others. These days, products with intense and concentrated ingredients tend to get more promotion. It seems Isoi focuses on gentle, ingredient-driven formulations instead. Being a gel cream, it mixes well with serums. When you're feeling lazy, you can easily blend it with your serum in your hand for a quick and convenient application. I've been using this exclusively for 5 years now. - xx*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedAug 26, 2020
True to its name, it's a genuinely lightweight gel-type moisturizer. With minimal rich feeling, this hydrating cream's texture suits all skin types except extremely dry skin. Unlike most moisturizers that come in jars, its tube packaging allows for more hygienic use. Isoi products are generally gentle, and this one doesn't cause blemishes or allergic reactions. There's nothing particularly bad, but it's not exceptionally amazing either. It's just... decent? But then again, that's been my experience with all Isoi products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2020
It absorbs really well and is gentle on the skin, so you can apply a generous amount without any worries. When you sweat, it tends to get a bit thick, and the hydration could be slightly better. - co******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2020
If I had to pick something positive, I'd say it absorbs well and applies lightly...?? Other than that, this emulsion really had no advantages for me. I discovered this while browsing other products on the website to meet the free shipping threshold when ordering the Isol Propolis Soothing Gel. I bought it along with my order and used it, but stopped after exactly 4 days. First of all, it's extremely drying. I had been using Innisfree's Bija Cica Balm for a long time because it suited me well, but I felt like it was creating a film on my face and making me sweat, so I got bored and tried switching to this. But to my surprise, it doesn't provide any hydration whatsoever. It dries up within 5 seconds of application. When you touch your face, you can feel something's there, but that deep skin tightness... it lasts all day and night. Secondly, as someone with super sensitive skin, even one wrong product can immediately cause inflammatory or small blemishes to pop up everywhere. After using this for the first time and waking up the next morning, I had a noticeable outbreak of small blemishes in areas where I've never had them before (in my skin's history...) - around my eyes, cheekbones, and under my chin. And when winter came, my forehead, which had been calm for a while, was suddenly overrun with small blemishes. Not just small blemishes, but tiny inflammatory ones too. Thirdly, it's not cheap for the amount you get. If it had worked well for my skin, I probably wouldn't have mentioned this. I'm using it up because I feel it's too expensive to waste. There are no tips to share. I might consider using it again in summer. When I wake up in the morning, my face feels so dry. Applying more hydrating products before this emulsion helps a bit. - ji*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2019
It's not sticky, has a nice firm texture, and feels moisturizing. I used to use the regular Sensitive version before it was discontinued, but I've switched to this Light version and I love it even more - it's lighter yet just as effective! I use a different cream in the evening, but this product is perfect as a base before applying makeup. Since switching to ISOI skincare, I've received many compliments on my improved skin texture and smoothness. I really hope this product stays on the market for a long time - that's why I'm leaving this rating! There's nothing to complain about! The texture, feel, price, and ingredients are all spot-on. Everything about it is perfect. I mainly use this before makeup. I squeeze out a pea-sized amount, spread it thinly, and let it absorb - it creates an excellent base for makeup. For reference, my skin used to be terrible at holding makeup, with everything looking patchy and emphasizing dead skin cells. But now, with this product and Estée Lauder Futurist, I've found my forever skincare combo! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2019
For extremely oily skin, it's incredibly lightweight and refreshing! I was looking for a non-sticky product to apply lightly before makeup, and this was absolutely perfect. While it doesn't make your face super hydrated, it does provide some moisture and lives up to its name by being truly light. I'm very satisfied! As I mentioned above, it doesn't feel like it replenishes moisture as much as you might expect. It's probably fine for those with oily skin, but I don't think it would suit those with dry skin. It's a great cream for oily skin types in summer, but there might be a slight dryness in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2019
I have atopic skin that's often exposed to water. This product is: • Gentle • Lightweight • Hydrating While I appreciate its refreshing feel, it absorbs quickly. If I don't layer a cream on top, my skin feels a bit tight.
