Apply generously before bed, exfoliate in the morning, and wake up with baby-soft lips! The subtle tint is perfect for that 'no-makeup' makeup look. It's quite pricey for such a small amount. The ingredients are absolutely fantastic! The main reason I bought this was because of its excellent formulation. 1. This isn't a color lip balm at all - there's no pigment. 2. It's quite expensive for what it is. 3. It doesn't apply smoothly on the lips. Perhaps due to its drying effect, it feels stiff and drags during application.

It's not for color cosmetics, but highly recommended for those with dry and sensitive lips. I'd recommend this to those who are looking for hydration and good ingredients rather than fragrance or color. This product is moisturizing, but the best part is the ingredients! It's wonderfully hydrating. Update on February 11, 2019: I've been applying it regularly before bed and whenever I have a moment. Gradually, my lips are returning to their natural color! I believe this product is truly effective and beneficial. The scent is somewhat beet-like... and the taste is really bitter. I suppose it's due to the quality ingredients, so I'll have to accept that! Update on February 11, 2019: I've gotten used to the scent now, so it doesn't bother me anymore! My lips used to be very dry with a lot of dead skin cells, but this product has improved that significantly. Although it's not as effective now that the weather has turned colder, I still think it's pretty good overall. It applies as a very light pink, almost colorless tint, so don't expect much in terms of pigmentation. Also, it seems a bit pricey. Scent - Mild and gentle fragrance, not irritating which I appreciated. Appearance - Nice square packaging, intriguing purple color of the lip balm. Moisturizing power is moderate. The hydration isn't as exceptional as I had hoped. It doesn't soften or plump up dry, flaky lips. Rather than feeling moisturizing, it's more like having a cream applied to your lips. Why do my lips feel a bit sore after applying this? There's a slight tingling sensation (I have sensitive lips). It's pricey for a lip balm. Given there are many cost-effective lip balms available, I probably won't repurchase.

It quickly soothes chapped lips and reduces dead skin cells. As I've been using it, I've noticed it also acts as a lip primer. Even my Etude House lipsticks that I had stopped using due to severe flaking now apply smoothly without settling into fine lines when I use this first. It's the best lip balm I've ever used! Well, although it's called 'Beet Purple', you can consider it colorless. I only learned it had any color from other reviews. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. When your lips are flaky, just glide this on and any lipstick will apply smoothly without emphasizing wrinkles or dead skin cells. I'll definitely repurchase! This product is absolutely amazing! I bought it on a friend's recommendation, and I'm still using it with great satisfaction. When you first use it, the beet scent might be a bit overwhelming, but after a couple of uses, you'll get used to it. Although it's a lip balm, I feel like my lips look more vibrant after application. It's incredibly moisturizing and has excellent staying power. My lips have been quite dry lately, so I've been using it frequently. As a bonus, the packaging is beautifully simple. The only slight downside was the initial beet scent, which took some getting used to. However, it made me feel like there might be more beet extract in the product, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Plus, you do get accustomed to it over time. Another thing, which was more of a habit-changing experience than a drawback, was the unique cap design. It opens differently from regular lipsticks, which caught me off guard at first! The color is subtle yet noticeable, and I absolutely adore the case design - it's right up my alley. I bought this after checking the ingredients. My lips were so dry, and since it has good ingredients, I thought it would be great for lip health. The price is a bit high, which is disappointing. I wish there were more offline stores selling it.
