I received a lot of samples and used this instead of my usual emulsion - it was surprisingly good! I have combination dehydrated skin leaning towards oily, but this didn't feel greasy at all. The texture is a light gel-cream, but it's a bit more fluid, so it's closer to an emulsion than a cream. If you apply too much it can feel oily, so I spread a thin layer all over and then added an extra layer only on areas that needed more hydration. The next day, my skin texture felt nice and firm, and the product absorbs well. Usually, if something doesn't suit my skin, I react immediately, but I've been using this without any issues so far.

There are times when it feels slightly itchy, but it varies from time to time.

After using non-root hydrating products, I tried this root hydration cream. Here's what I found:
1. It's more concentrated. The cream applies thicker, if you will. It also absorbs well into the skin.

2. The distinctive scent seems to have been reduced. Great for those who dislike strong fragrances.

3. It's easier to apply now that it's more concentrated.

The downside is that this intense hydration doesn't last very long. It's more of a light sleeping pack.

When I apply this and go to sleep, I wake up feeling like my skin is bursting with hydration!

Even when I apply just the skin emulsion and immediately follow with this sleeping pack, the hydration seems to last until morning! It's incredibly moisturizing, but it does have a rich feel to it. Since it's a sleeping pack used before bed, I don't mind the richness and use it well! When I apply it before sleeping, I definitely notice my skin feels softer when I wash my face the next day.

I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. It's also disappointing that I can't apply it all over my face, as some areas become too greasy, limiting its use.

When applied to dry areas of my skin before bed, it reduces dead skin cells and maintains hydration. I'm completely satisfied using it on my face during the dry winter months.

On lazy nights, you can just slather this on generously after your toner and head to bed!

I bought this on the recommendation of a store associate and I absolutely love it! When I apply this after my toner and emulsion before bed, I wake up with incredibly soft skin. There's a subtle glow that makes my complexion look hydrated and really healthy!

Store it in the refrigerator and apply it cool! The cooling effect helps calm your skin.

Not recommended for those with oily skin. Even I tend to get oily in the summer, and this feels a bit heavy for nighttime use.

Highly recommended for those with dry skin. It absorbs instantly without any greasiness or excess oil. You'll wake up to noticeably softer skin.
