The smudging issue was quite disappointing... After 9 hours out, I came home to find that while the eyeliner itself remained perfectly intact, there were dark traces under my eyes. Even after meticulously removing oil from around my eyes and between my lashes before applying makeup, it still ended up like this, making it a bit challenging to use.

First off, I'm absolutely in love with the clear, cool black color that has a subtle blue tint - something I haven't easily found elsewhere! The pigmentation is intense and smooth, creating a deep, defined line with just one swipe. This is an experience I've never had with other eyeliners, and it definitely sets this one apart. Moreover, it comes with a thin 1.5mm tip, allowing for a clean and sharp wing that can rival even pen eyeliners. This could be a great choice for those who dislike the thick, smudgy feel of gel pencils but find pen eyeliners tricky to handle.

Unfortunately, there are too many drawbacks. Despite being labeled as 'super waterproof', it smudges immediately after application. It's best to let the line dry a bit before opening your eyes. Also, it's quite difficult to remove even with cleansing water. Another issue is that you can only twist up a small amount of the pencil at a time. I was shocked to find out you can't retract it. The first time I used it, I twisted out too much product and was at a loss when I couldn't push it back in. I think I'll stick to what I've been using before.

I was captivated by the Kiss Me eyeliner brush pen, so I decided to try their pencil version. While it wasn't quite what I expected, it does have some merits. Compared to other pencils, it's softer and thinner, making it relatively easy to draw a precise line.

It says to only extend 2mm, but when I pushed it out just a little, it came out looking all frayed like in the photo. When I tried to extend it a bit more, it came out twisted like a pretzel, as you can see in the picture. It's so soft! This pencil costs 15,000 won, but what on earth is going on? It's too soft to draw a line at all. It breaks immediately.

Wow... I rarely write negative reviews, but today I'm so shocked that I even took photos and came to Hwahae. I didn't buy this in Korea, but overseas. Of course, it's an authentic Japanese product. I even took a picture of the packaging in case you don't believe me. Is it just me experiencing this? I've bought the Kiss Me liquid liner several times because I like it, so this time I thought I'd try the gel liner. As soon as I got home, I opened it and tried to twist it, but the pencil part at the end wouldn't come out. When I looked closely, I saw that the hole was just blocked without an opening. I was confused for a while, wondering if I needed to cut the end of this gel liner to use it. Eventually, I ended up cutting the end with a knife. If it had worked properly even after that, I would have used it... Gosh...

Here's a pro tip: Instead of going for black like I did, try brown - it'll look just as beautiful!

The downside is that it's too stiff and intense. When I draw my eyeliner, it creates a harsh line and the stiffness makes my eyes hurt when applying. That's why lately I've been using the bottom right shade from the 3CE Smoothy Palette as a liner shadow instead! It would be great if you could improve the stiffness issue.

You need to extend it bit by bit when using, and it breaks easily. With Kate's, I could extend it more and apply with more pressure without it breaking. This one snaps and flies off even when extended just a little. It's quite fragile. When I first switched, it broke and flew off so much that I thought I'd never buy it again. But if you use it carefully, it's fine, and the price is so low that I ended up repurchasing. It seems to be on the softer and more delicate side in terms of strength.

It's thin at 1.5mm. Highly recommended for those wanting a slim pencil eyeliner. I've repurchased after trying it once. I used to use Kate's before, and the effect, color, and 1.5mm thickness are the same, but Kiss Me is much more affordable.
