This emulsion has the highest MSM content. It's almost completely non-greasy. I didn't notice any particular benefits. The absorption is poor, so you have to wait a long time for it to sink in. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2020
I bought this because of its good ingredients. I tried it on my face, but it felt like a film was covering my skin, which was uncomfortable. So I only used it on my body, and it was just okay. I had high hopes because of the many functional ingredients in this cosmetic product, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. I recommend purchasing it from iHerb. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2020
1. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. 2. It's fragrance-free and has a pleasant texture. 3. It's a reliable cream that doesn't cause blemishes. 1. My skin feels dry again quickly! I wish it was a bit richer. 2. It takes some time to absorb completely. Try mixing it with a facial oil for better results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2019
It doesn't cause any blemishes and applies smoothly. While I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't absorb well, I still think it's a good product. The scent is quite medicinal. I think people will either love or hate it because of the smell. I apply it thinking I'm using medicine from a pharmacy rather than a cream. Apparently, it works well with retinol and helps strengthen the skin barrier. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2019
For those who love iHerb, I highly recommend giving this a try. If you're like me, dealing with a total mess of issues like blemishes, skin texture, redness, and sensitivity, this is something you'll keep coming back to and eventually settle on. The texture is somewhere between a white emulsion and cream. When you apply it, it feels like it's coating your skin at first, but it quickly absorbs, leaving a refreshing feel. On the flip side, that refreshing sensation might lead to dryness, so I mix it with oil at night. The next morning when I look in the mirror, I can't help but think, 'Oh... not bad at all.' It's not about miraculous blemish elimination or achieving porcelain-like skin, but rather about your skin feeling stable, well-rested, with a brighter and improved complexion. It gives you that confidence to go out bare-faced. You might think it would cause pilling under makeup, but surprisingly, it doesn't. It works great under sunscreen and foundation, allowing them to set perfectly. With tea tree and MSM as its main ingredients, it definitely has a medicinal feel. It won't magically make all your blemishes and tiny bumps disappear overnight. However, since using this, I've significantly reduced how often I use face masks and wash-off packs. My skincare routine has become much simpler too. Plus, even when blemishes do appear, they don't stick around as long. This has made me much braver about trying new products compared to before. It contains tea tree and MSM, so it has a medicinal smell. It's similar to the scent of joint ointments, which isn't surprising given the ingredients. Mixing it with carrot oil actually helps neutralize the strong carrot scent, so this might not even be a downside... When used alone, the absorption is somewhat slow. When mixed with oil, the absorption becomes incredibly, amazingly slow. You need to have patience. It's a different feeling from zinc oxide not absorbing. While zinc feels thick and you have to really work it in, this product feels slippery. It's like trying to push in your 17th layer of toner rather than your 7th... Sorry for the limited explanation! As mentioned above, it can be a bit drying when used alone, but mixing it with oil is a winning combination. I've tried mixing it with sea buckthorn oil, carrot oil, and even both together. As many people have testified, it works best with carrot oil. It often goes out of stock on iHerb, so you need to order with some patience and foresight. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2019
I have acne-prone, combination dehydrated skin. I apply this before makeup and after my toner and emulsion. After about a week, I noticed a significant reduction in my blemishes! While it does help reduce acne, it feels quite drying during winter when used as an emulsion. Being an imported product, it's also a bit on the pricey side... After cleansing, I layer it like this: toner, emulsion, MSM emulsion, then a generous amount of gel emulsion or cream. This keeps my skin adequately hydrated. It also works well under makeup! - yh****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2019
This cream doesn't seem to be designed primarily for hydration. MSM has antibacterial properties and enhances the absorption of other ingredients. As someone with oily skin, I don't feel much tightness even when I only apply this after using an essence or toner pad. In fact, after the initial white cast absorbs, it leaves my skin in a perfect, firm state for makeup application. In the evening, I mix it with oil before applying. It's a versatile and gentle cream that can be used on various areas. The only downside might be that you need to purchase it from iHerb. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the quantity, texture, versatility, and quality. There's some concern about vitamin A being a risky substance, but I separately buy retinol to apply on dry areas anyway. It's beneficial to apply generously not just on the face, but also on the shoulders, neck, and joints. After all, it's originally a cream for muscle relaxation and pain relief. You can definitely feel a reduction in stiffness and discomfort. - rl***********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2018
I've only been using it for about a week, but when I apply it before bed, the redness of my blemishes disappears by the next morning. It works hard! When applied, there's a white cast? It leaves a white residue when spread. I suppose it's just the nature of the product, but it stung a bit when I first applied it, and it felt like it lacked hydration? After spreading it, if you pat it in to help it absorb, the white cast disappears - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 5, 2018
I've been using Nu*kin products for 10 years, but I was struggling with persistent, inflamed acne that just wouldn't go away. That's when a friend recommended MSM. After researching on Hwahae, I chose the Sunfood emulsion with the best ingredients. I've been using it for a week now, and it's truly amazing! My blemishes are getting smaller every day! The acne that was once protruding like a jellyfish is now just a small red spot. I've never used a product so effective for acne! Highly recommended. Plus, it's affordable, comes in a large quantity, and I'll definitely keep using it! It doesn't absorb well... It feels like the white cast from sunscreen. Even after absorption, it feels like there's a fine powder left on my face. And it's drying, too. For those with dry skin, mixing it with vitamin E oil or other facial oils makes it absolutely amazing! However, since oils can be a bit heavy in the morning, I apply aloe gel first, then the MSM emulsion. This leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 17, 2018
I don't use it alone, but mix it with face oil. It feels moisturizing and seems to soften my skin texture. It doesn't absorb immediately, but I found that gently patting and cupping it with warm hands helps it absorb well. I had some mild wrist pain, and I heard that the MSM ingredient can help alleviate joint inflammation.
