I'm not sure what I liked about it. I just bought it based on the staff's recommendation. The scent is strange, and I'm not sure if it's effective... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2018
It's great how my skin feels soft and fresh the next morning after applying it before bed. The price isn't bad either. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it in many ways. The scent is a bit strong and unpleasant. Other than that, I can't really think of any particular drawbacks. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 14, 2018
My skin type is oily and prone to blemishes. I've been consistently using products for troubled skin, but many didn't suit me, so I've been a bit of a skincare nomad. I originally used the Bija Cica Balm, but it wasn't effective. Then I stumbled upon this product at an Innisfree store and have been applying it daily for about 3 months. The first positive thing I noticed was that when I applied the cream at night, my skin seemed to improve slightly by the next morning. The cream also absorbs well, and the scent was better than expected. Pros: 1. Absorbs well - The texture is neither too runny nor too matte, so it applies smoothly. 2. Pleasant scent - Fragrance can be subjective, but personally, I enjoyed the scent, which is why I continued using it. 3. Skin feels improved the next day - After washing my face the next morning, my skin felt smoother, and it seemed to absorb skincare products better. 4. Reduced small bumps - However, it didn't affect cystic acne. *Why I repurchased: I tend to use skincare products quickly, so I finished this in about a month. Honestly, I felt one month wasn't enough to fully judge the product's quality, so I decided to repurchase it for a more thorough evaluation. I bought this product because the Bija Cica Balm from the same brand, Innisfree, didn't suit my skin type. However, this product seems rather disappointing. Initially, I applied it thickly on troubled areas before bed, but it didn't seem particularly effective. Now I apply it in a thin layer. (I used it thickly for about a month and thinly for two months.) Cons: 1. Can only be applied at night - Since it needs to be applied before bed, I sometimes forgot to use it. It also seems important to let it absorb fully before sleeping, otherwise it might transfer to the pillow and not work properly. 2. After 3 months of use, I didn't see significant results - While my skin feels better the day after using the product, and small bumps and minor blemishes disappear over time, it doesn't affect cystic acne. For example, I had a pimple that had come to a head and scabbed over slightly after popping, but it didn't disappear even after a month. Apply the cream to your face as quickly as possible after squeezing it out. While it's not too runny, it has a tendency to drip, so it's best to apply it to your face promptly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 11, 2018
It makes your skin feel soft and smooth after application. It's said to help with skin regeneration and more. As expected, my skin completely broke out from the very first day of use. Being a regenerating cream, I thought it might be rough at first and hoped it would calm down, but I could feel it getting worse and worse. The smell isn't great either. The biggest drawback is that you might end up needing to visit a dermatologist! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2018
What I loved was the feeling of waking up to soft, smooth skin after applying it before bed. While I'll need to keep using it to be sure, it seems to have cleared up most areas quite nicely. The product is generally gentle, so it's not a bad idea to give it a try. I had small bumps, and while it did calm those down, I developed inflamed blemishes just two days into using it. Inflamed blemishes are harder to manage than small bumps... I'm continuing to use it since it's supposed to be gentle, but I'm not sure about the results. Be careful not to apply too thick a layer on problem areas, as it can leave a shiny appearance even on bare skin. Apply a thin, even layer instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2017
I switched to this after using the Torreya Blemish Spot treatment because it was causing more issues. My skin has significantly improved since then. I plan to continue using this for the foreseeable future. The fact that it can only be applied at night is a drawback. Also, the fragrance isn't particularly appealing... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 25, 2017
First off, I bought this without hesitation since Innisfree is known for being gentle and suitable for my skin. However... it seems my skin doesn't agree with it. When I apply it, there's an itchy sensation. I've been trying to endure it and keep using it, but I've never experienced anything like this before. The itching is unbearable, and I'm not sure what's causing this reaction. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2017
I have extremely oily skin, but when I wake up the next morning after using this, my skin is noticeably less greasy! It's a shame I can only apply it before bed. If only I could use it during the day too... It works great when applied to the oily T-zone before going to sleep - lo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinOct 19, 2017
(As someone with extremely oily skin, I was experiencing slight dryness after cleansing and increasing deep dryness as the weather got cooler. Despite this, shortly after applying makeup, oil would gradually creep up, then suddenly my entire face would be drenched in sebum. That's why I decided to try this product!) The positive aspects were the good absorption and beneficial ingredients. That's all I can say in its favor. Following the usage instructions, last night I applied it as the final step of my skincare routine to areas where oil typically accumulates - the center of my forehead, nose, inner cheeks, and chin - before going to bed. However... When I woke up this morning, those areas were red, swollen, hot, intensely itchy, and felt bumpy. It's extremely uncomfortable. Despite having very sensitive skin and carefully checking the ingredients before purchasing, the exact areas where I applied the product reacted badly. Looking into the cause, I found that the mineral sulfur component is supposed to control excess sebum, but it seems my skin didn't agree with the sulfur at all. (It practically devoured my skin!) - be********Combination SkinOct 18, 2017
I'm not sure about the specific benefits, but I guess since Innisfree products generally work well for me, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin issues. The scent is... the sulfur smell... it's so strong it makes my nose tingle! The fragrance is really unpleasant. Even though I only apply it at night, the sulfur odor makes it uncomfortable to sleep. I might be overly sensitive, but I can't tell if it's even effective. The smell is just awful and I really don't like it. Here's a tip: I found that applying Nuxe oil after this product helps somewhat mask the scent. Most regular moisturizers can't cover it up.
