The color is a slightly toned-down deep pink that's absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend it for warm-toned individuals. Whether you apply it as a full lip or gradient, the shade is just stunning. While it's a matte lipstick, it does feel a bit stiff when applying. If you have dry lips, I'd suggest using a lip balm underneath. The scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing. It has a distinct cosmetic fragrance that's quite noticeable for a lipstick. Personally, I don't mind it, but I'm still getting used to it with each application. The lipstick mechanism seems a bit faulty - it doesn't twist up smoothly and requires some force. The case appears to be the issue here. Another downside is that the lipstick applies a bit thick. I found it better to apply it with light taps rather than a full swipe! This product seems to attract a lot of foreign particles, unfortunately. Also, the applicator broke while I was twisting it. The clear cap gets messy quickly if you're not careful when closing it, so you need to keep wiping it clean.
