  Compared to the white bottle Hada Labo (which can feel heavy and pill when layered 3-5 times), this seems less sticky but more hydrating. Applying it 3 times leaves my skin feeling like I've used an essence - it tackles deep dryness and gives a nice, plump feeling.

  Cons

  Using this in summer caused my skin to break out severely. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious.

  Pros

  This is hands down the best cosmetic purchase I made in Japan early last year. The texture is incredible - despite its high viscosity, it absorbs quickly without any stickiness. It keeps my skin hydrated for a long time without feeling dry. I'm amazed by the formula - it's thick but feels amazing on the skin. The scent is subtle, likely from the natural ingredients, and not overpowering at all. If you want to experience the true benefits of hyaluronic acid, I highly recommend this. I've tried many hyaluronic acid products, but none compare to the excellent feel of this one.

  Cons

  The only downside is that it's made in Japan... I had some prejudices before and really hesitated to buy it, but I don't regret my decision.

  Tip

  It's not just for your face - you can apply it all over your body without feeling heavy. I use it on dry areas after showering. It's easier to apply than an emulsion, so I use it frequently.

  It absorbs really well! For a toner, it's quite rich, but it feels like it locks in hydration. If you have oily skin, this could be a great substitute for emulsion in the summer!

  When applying it during summer, it feels a bit like it's sitting on top of the skin or pilling slightly.

  In summer, it's best to use this toner followed by just a very light emulsion or essence.
