It absorbs well and has more oil than a moisturizing cream, but it doesn't feel heavy. My eyes are sensitive, and even around the eyes it stings, but this product seems gentle, so I like it! It feels a bit lacking in moisture. I mean, it's for wrinkle improvement, so that might be why, but it doesn't seem to do anything for brightening at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2016
I purchased this product after testing it in the store and liking it. When I first used it, the absorption was good, the texture was smooth, it helped refine my skin texture, and it felt soft and creamy - the type I prefer. The moisturizing power was also good, and I used it comfortably through the fall, winter, and spring (until May). It's dense and rich. In the evenings, I use Physiogel, so I only apply this in the mornings, and it works well with my makeup, not causing any pilling. It also comes with a spatula. Since I only use a small amount each time, it lasts a long time. The fragrance is also pleasant. I'm not sure if this is the case with all cosmetics or just Laneige, but I don't really feel the effects when using it. It's supposed to have wrinkle improvement and whitening benefits, but I haven't experienced any of that. It just seems to suit my skin, so there aren't any major side effects. I just use it without any issues, especially during seasonal changes or transitional periods when I get some trouble. As a sensitive skin type, it's difficult to find the right product, so I'm just using this, even though the price feels a bit high for what it is. And there's something about the 'concentration' (?) - at first, a small amount spreads out widely with a heavy texture, but the more I use it, the more I need to apply to get the same coverage. I'm not sure why that is.
