My hair tends to get really oily. The hairdresser mentioned I had some dead skin cells, so they recommended this shampoo for daily care. On days when I use it, I notice my hair roots feel lighter, and there's a noticeable boost in volume! It's like the shampoo transforms my usually limp, oily hair into something more bouncy and fresh. The price is a bit steep... Also, it doesn't lather up well, so you don't get that satisfying, thorough cleanse feeling. Another downside is that for best results, you need to massage it in and leave it for a while. This makes it a bit challenging to use in the morning when you're short on time. I've found a great way to use this: when showering in the evening, I apply it carefully to my scalp while bending over, making sure to cover all areas thoroughly before standing up to rinse. This method seems to work wonders! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2021
I usually had excess sebum production, which led to blemishes and scalp odor. But after using this detoxifying scrub shampoo, I've noticed a significant improvement! There's nothing to complain about. I'm so satisfied that I'll definitely keep using it regularly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 14, 2020
The way the lather changes based on your scalp condition really boosted my confidence in this product. The price is quite steep for the amount you get, which is disappointing. I bought it hoping it would help with my seborrheic dermatitis, but I haven't seen much improvement! Make sure to leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes before rinsing it out. - ya********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2020
First off, I have seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff, so I've tried countless shampoos. This one has been the most effective by far. My scalp was red and flaky before, but this has really calmed it down. The itching has decreased significantly, and especially the dandruff has dramatically reduced. I highly recommend this to anyone with seborrheic dermatitis. The biggest drawback is definitely the price. I believe it was around $37 on the official website, which is quite expensive for the amount you get. Also, it doesn't lather well, which means you end up using more product than you'd like. Here's a tip for purchasing: If you search for 'Davines' on Naver Shopping, you'll see several official sites and direct purchase options. Look for the 'Today's Deal' section where you can find it for about $26-$29. The price fluctuates between regular and deal prices, so if you time it right, you can get it for under $30. For those with scalp issues like mine, make sure to thoroughly wet your scalp before shampooing to get a better lather. Leave the shampoo on for a few minutes to really see the effects. There are YouTube videos showing how to shampoo for problematic scalps like ours - they suggest 5 minutes of wetting, 5 minutes of shampooing, and 5 minutes of rinsing. I'm too impatient for that, but I try to manage about 3 minutes each, and it definitely works. Be extra thorough when rinsing and make sure to dry your scalp completely - it really helps reduce dandruff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 15, 2019
I've used Davines' Red Line before, so I tried this one too. Is there anything particularly good about it? Well, it's a bit less greasy. It's expensive and not as good as the Red Line. Maybe it's because I don't have any scalp blemishes. - co*******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2018
The Shiseido sensitive scalp treatment that couldn't tackle my sensitivity issues completely solved them in just a week! It seems to be the best for scalp blemishes. The only downside I can think of is the price!!!! If you want to intensively care for your scalp, use it daily for two weeks! Otherwise, you can use it about 3 times a week, alternating with other products. Davines managed to clear up the large, painful pimples on my scalp that Shiseido couldn't handle. Since using Davines, I haven't had a single pimple on my scalp! Highly recommended for those with frequent scalp breakouts! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2018
My scalp was usually itchy and prone to dandruff, but after using this, it definitely feels refreshed and there's noticeably less dead skin cells. The price is a bit wicked. Of course, I understand it's because of the high content of natural ingredients. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 6, 2017
The scrub particles effectively cleaned my scalp, removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores. I loved the natural fragrance too. Frequent use might irritate your scalp. The price point is a bit on the higher side... It's best to use this shampoo 2-3 times a week. I'd recommend using your regular shampoo for daily washes and incorporating this one occasionally for a deep cleanse.
