Compared to other shampoos I've used, this one produces an incredibly rich lather and has a refreshing minty scent. I've been using it consistently for the past two years, and even when I tried other products in between, I came back to this one because their lather and cleansing effectiveness were weaker. I highly recommend it. I can't think of any particular drawbacks. The only thing I might consider is that the cleansing effectiveness could potentially be too strong for those with very dry hair. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 17, 2020
Snagged it for 8900 during an Olive Young sale. It lathers up nicely and lives up to its name with a refreshing feel. Need to use it more to judge the rest. I read somewhere that if purified water is listed as a main ingredient, it means the product is over 70% water. Feels like I'm paying to apply water to my skin. Already using it, but will probably try something else next time. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2020
I loved how it lathers up so well. Although it's silicone-free (?) which makes hair quite stiff, it leaves you feeling refreshed after washing. As someone with oily skin, my face and hair get really greasy if I skip washing for just a day, but since using this shampoo, it controls oil well and I'm really happy with it! While it gives a clean and fresh feeling, it makes my hair extremely stiff... My hair stands up like pig bristles. It's so hard to style. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 16, 2019
As someone with an oily scalp, I found this shampoo delays oil production and lathers up nicely! It has great cleansing effectiveness, and personally, I love its clean minty scent. The downside is that it doesn't leave your hair feeling super soft. It can feel a bit stiff, so you'll need to use a separate conditioner or treatment. Also, the bottle doesn't have a pump, which is a bit inconvenient. I recommend buying a separate pump bottle and transferring the shampoo for easier use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2019
A small amount produces an impressive lather! As someone with an oily scalp, I'm usually cautious about shampoos, but this one keeps the oil at bay for longer, which is great. The downside is the packaging! The shampoo cap is stiff and hard to open. Plus, it's a flip-top design, which is inconvenient to use and dispenses too much product, leading to waste. Pro tip: You can buy a pump dispenser at Daiso for just a dollar, which works great! One pump gives you just the right amount - generous but not excessive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 7, 2019
The cooling effect is great! It lathers well and leaves you feeling refreshed after washing. After using it a few times, the cooling effect diminishes significantly. Now there's hardly any cooling sensation at all. The treatment from the same product line seems to have an even better cooling effect! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2018
The formula is transparent like hand sanitizer! The scent suits my taste, and it lathers well. It seems to have good cleansing effectiveness, and I'm so pleased with this shampoo that I've stocked up on two more bottles before finishing the first one! Since it's a silicone-free product, it gives my slightly wavy hair a bit of frizz, but if you're prioritizing skin health, it's not an issue at all. Here's a pro tip for getting rid of scalp odor: Since it's a pre-shampoo, start by using just a tiny amount to create a light lather and roughly wash your hair. Rinse it out, then use the same amount again - you'll get an incredible amount of foam the second time around! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2018
If you're a fan of Baskin Robbins' Mint Chocolate Chip, you'll love this! The scent is absolutely spot-on for mint choco lovers. What's even better is that it has great ingredients, lathers well, and has significantly reduced my itching! Despite being called 'cooling', there's barely any cooling sensation except for a slight tingle when you first apply it. I got it at a good price though, so I can't really complain about any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 26, 2018
I was surprised by the cooling effect - it was actually quite nice! The foam was impressive too, I was shocked at how well it lathered. The texture is thick enough that it doesn't run off your hands, so a little goes a long way in creating a rich lather. Above all, the gentle ingredients make it a worry-free choice. I'd recommend this to those with super sensitive skin! Being silicone-free, the shampoo alone leaves my hair feeling extremely stiff. It's practically unusable without conditioner! I'm nearly finished with the bottle, but I haven't seen any significant changes in my hair volume or thickness. I'm not sure if it's working or not. As someone with fine hair, this is disappointing. My scalp tends to get oily quickly, leading to greasiness and odor, but I haven't noticed much improvement in this area either. Maybe it's because my hair is long, but I'm not sure. In conclusion, it's an okay shampoo, but don't expect dramatic results. I bought a 1+1 deal, so I have another bottle left, but I'm thinking of switching to a different shampoo. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2018
It might be more noticeable in summer... To feel the cooling effect, you need to leave it on for a while and massage your scalp thoroughly. That's when you start to feel it a bit. It lathers well. Unfortunately, this cooling shampoo lacks in the cooling department. The cleansing effectiveness seems okay, but the cooling effect is really disappointing.
