While I didn't quite experience the 'film-like' sensation others mentioned, I noticed that after application and absorption, it leaves a powdery finish. But it's not like you've actually applied powder - it's more of a similar effect, if that makes sense? It's definitely a bit unusual!

After applying, it quickly turns powdery and doesn't feel very moisturizing, making me wonder if it's actually effective. However, when water touches your skin, you immediately notice that a protective barrier has been well-formed.

However, some reviews suggest the jar type provides better hydration. If maximum hydration is your top priority, you might want to go for the jar version!

It's labeled as unscented, but I don't think it's truly fragrance-free. There's a subtle scent that's hard to describe. It's kind of like an ointment or herbal smell?
