It's easy to use when retouching your makeup. Just swipe it on and blend it with the built-in sponge. Good coverage. It adheres well to slightly oily skin, absorbing excess oil and providing a beautiful skin expression. As the name suggests, it's very matte. If your base makeup isn't properly done, it will look cakey on the skin. I definitely can't use it for touch-ups. Personally, I prefer stick foundations that are easy to carry around. That's when I discovered the NARS Stick Foundation, and it's truly amazing!! I feel like I've found my holy grail foundation. It has a sponge at the back, so you can just swipe the foundation stick directly onto your face, and then use the sponge to blend it out. It looks so natural and beautiful on the skin. I've always had trouble finding the perfect color match for my skin tone, so I'd end up mixing different foundations, but the NARS Doville shade is a perfect match for me. There are so many color options, so you'll definitely be able to find the right one for your skin. I highly recommend this! Out of all the foundations I've tried, this is the lightest, thinnest, and most natural-looking one that doesn't make my skin feel heavy or suffocated. The finish is soft and powdery, so I'd strongly recommend this to oily-skinned folks. The price is a bit high compared to the amount, but if you're looking for a natural and lightweight application, it's worth it. The only thing to be mindful of is that if you don't exfoliate well, it can accentuate any dry patches or flakiness. I'd strongly recommend making sure your skin is well-exfoliated before using this. If you're looking for heavy coverage, this might not be the best option, as the thin application means the coverage is a bit on the lighter side. Make sure to exfoliate well before using this! Something like the Lush Mask of Magnaminty or your regular exfoliating product should do the trick. My skin is quite oily, and after about 8 hours, I did notice some oil peeking through, but it looked very natural and didn't make my makeup look messy. However, if you really dislike any oil breakthrough, I'd suggest setting the foundation with powder after application. Overall, this is a fantastic option if you want a natural, skin-like finish!
