I received it as a gift and gave it a try. As someone with warm undertones, I'm not entirely satisfied. + Smooth application The soft texture makes it easy and pleasant to apply. + For a 'no-makeup' makeup look When I want to look like I'm not wearing makeup, I apply a small amount of this. Used sparingly, Vegas Volt doesn't show its true color but blends with my natural lip color. It changes the tone subtly rather than looking like I'm wearing lipstick. Don't use too much! It's funny how the product's drawbacks combine to create an unexpected advantage.
Cons- Amplified formula While I enjoy MAC's matte lipstick range, the Amplified lipstick is too soft for my liking. If you're not careful, the stick can easily break, and the formula tends to smear and transfer. I feel like I've wasted quite a bit due to the product moving around. - Lacks adherence It slides around and looks patchy, which is why I only use a small amount. - Staying power? What's that? With significant transfer, the longevity is naturally weak. More importantly, the color breakdown is disastrous. On my lips, it degrades into a messy shade that looks like kimchi juice stains. For me, Vegas Volt is reminiscent of kimchi broth. - Difficult to achieve the intended color Due to the formula or perhaps my natural lip color, it's challenging to achieve the original shade visible in the tube. On my face, it somehow looks messy... The color is pretty, but between the poor staying power and the difficulty in bringing out the true shade on my lips, it's a struggle. - Emphasizes fine lines and texture My lip lines aren't very defined, and I have some wrinkles. Whether it's due to the formula or not, this doesn't make the skin look smooth. A thin layer doesn't give pretty color payoff, but layering to build color emphasizes texture. The lip contours seem to visually affect the skin too, making this a product I rarely reach for.

The color payoff is intense with just one swipe, and even if you apply it casually, it easily covers the entire lip. It's much easier to apply than matte lipsticks.
ConsI bought this because it's often mentioned as a holy grail for warm tones, but when applied as a full lip, it seems to look a bit off on me. It's a salmon-leaning pink coral color with a lot of white and fluorescent undertones, so it might suit those with lighter complexions better. Being a moisturizing lipstick, it does transfer quite a bit and the staying power isn't particularly impressive.

It makes your lips look plump and voluminous.
ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but the lipstick seems to sit on top of my lips rather than blending in. Even though I have fair skin and most lip colors usually suit me well, for some reason this one just doesn't seem to mesh with my lips. It's quite disappointing.

The pink coral color is really pretty.
ConsAfter some time, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and transfer a bit. I bought it thinking it would suit me well like Apieu Lasting Lip Tint Stay Coral and Peripera Heart Glow Stick, but unfortunately the color just sits on top of my lips instead of blending in.

ConsThe downside of blog reviews... After a while, it really emphasizes dead skin cells. It was supposed to be a coral lipstick, but when applied, it turns into a pale pink with a white cast. I usually wear orange and pink shades without issue, but this one makes my lips look completely detached from my face
TipThis product absolutely cannot be used alone! You must apply it as a gradient over a deeper orange or pink lip product!

However, this coral shade with a slight fluorescent touch is absolutely perfect for me! It complements my skin tone beautifully. My lips are super sensitive, and I often get itchy reactions from products with harsh ingredients. But this one doesn't irritate at all, which is why I've repurchased it.
ConsWhen applied on its own, it can look a bit floaty on the lips. For best results, I recommend applying a reddish tint first, then layering this on top. That combination creates a gorgeous look!

ConsDespite being a hydrating type, it caused significant dead skin cells to surface and left a white cast on top of the flaky areas.

The pigmentation is fantastic, so I think it'll last a long time.
ConsIf you apply just one layer, it can make your lips look a bit floaty. It might not work well if your complexion isn't very fair!
TipI always start by applying a NARS lip pencil in a reddish shade to the inner part of my lips, then I layer a MAC lipstick over it, and finish with a gloss on top. Using just one product doesn't quite cut it, but this combination creates a beautiful color blend and prevents that floating lip effect.

Now I'm using it exclusively as a blusher... haha! Unlike other products that can cause blemishes when applied carelessly to the cheeks, this one doesn't do that. MAC really seems to excel at creating colors. Oh, and the color payoff is fantastic!
ConsThis feminine shade has such intense pigmentation that it's a bit startling every time I apply it. And since it's primarily a lipstick, it's really not great in that capacity. It accentuates wrinkles and dead skin cells - all the fine lines just say 'Hello there!' If you're suddenly curious about counting your lip wrinkles, go for it! Haha. Being from the Amplified line, it has almost no staying power.
TipI'd suggest just buying a similar color from a different brand. For MAC lipsticks, I recommend the Matte or Retro Matte lines.

I thought this would give me that innocent, delicate look I was after.
ConsAfter trying it, I realized that coral with a white undertone just doesn't suit me. When I wear this alone, my skin looks darker and my lips seem to float on my face. The moisturizing formula actually makes my lips stand out even more.
TipTry using it as a blush instead.
