Why do they discontinue the good stuff? I had finally settled on this, now I'm back to being a skincare nomad! It's so hydrating, perfect for dry skin, and it subtly brightens too? That's exactly what I love! Great value for money as well. Discontinued, oh no! I bought the renewed version but haven't tried it yet. I loved this one so much! Though I must say, it was a bit too moisturizing for summer use and tended to come off with sweat. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 20, 2019
Among all the sunscreens I've tried, this one's my absolute favorite. It doesn't leave any white cast, slightly evens out my skin tone, and keeps my skin hydrated. I just checked the ingredients on Hwahae today... Now I'm not sure what to do with the ones I've stocked up on... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 24, 2018
I loved the smooth and moisturizing application. It provides a natural skin tone correction, perfect for my usual bare-faced look. With just a slight tone adjustment, it gives me a natural and glowing complexion. Though I don't have sensitive skin, I felt some irritation when applying it. I used this sunscreen all summer, and my skin became generally rough. Even with thorough cleansing using a foam cleanser, I could feel my skin gradually deteriorating. I recommend cleansing thoroughly and using an exfoliating toner after washing your face! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 1, 2018
It gives a dewy glow. There's a slight white cast, which provides a brightening effect, but it's not too intense. It's a bit shiny. I noticed it has some active ingredients. When applying with hands, it feels like it doesn't adhere completely to the skin. Apply a thin layer by dotting it on your face and then blend it out with a puff for better adherence. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 17, 2018
First off, the quantity! I loved that it comes in such a generous size. Plus, it's hydrating and lightweight, making it perfect for daily use! I thought it would have a base function that would make my face noticeably brighter, but it only made my complexion slightly lighter than my natural tone. The large quantity is both a pro and a con... It's too much to use up quickly, but I can't bring myself to switch to something else. For those with oily skin, it might feel a bit rich, so I'd recommend using it with a sebum control product for the best results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2018
I love how generous the amount is, and it really brightens up my skin nicely. It also provides great hydration! After using this, I experienced a bit of a burning sensation on my face, and the brightening effect doesn't seem to last very long. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2018
It's deeply hydrating and comes in a generous size. My skin had a severe reaction. I had to visit a dermatologist, take medication, apply prescribed creams, and use cucumber masks before it finally calmed down. I strongly advise anyone considering this product to patch test first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 30, 2018
There's no white cast, which can be a pro or con depending on personal preference. For me, I prefer sunscreens without a white cast. It's also moisturizing and spreads easily on the skin. A few hours after application, my face looks quite oily. Also, I noticed there are some not-so-great ingredients in it. Next time, I'll just opt for a different, better sunscreen... sigh. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2018
I managed to snag this during a sale, so I feel like I got a great deal. It's wonderfully hydrating and absorbs beautifully. I've been using it because I think it's helping to brighten my complexion. The rich texture was a bit uncomfortable for me. It seems quite oily, so you really need to take care with the final application to ensure it's well-absorbed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2018
First impression - The beast-sized volume makes it difficult to carry in a pouch, so I decanted it into a separate container from Daiso for just 1000 won! (photo) My face tends to have a lot of redness, so I was a bit worried since the product has a pink tint. Application - It applies incredibly moisturizing, and the finish is quite rich, which is actually a plus for my dry skin! It claims to have a tone-evening effect, so I layered it on multiple times. While not as strong as drugstore brightening moisturizers, it does brighten the complexion! Versatility - Strangely, when I apply this before my base makeup, it seems to help my makeup last longer and prevents it from looking cakey. I guess that's why it's called an all-in-one! Value for money - I was skeptical about the regular price of 12,000 won, but Tony Moly frequently runs buy-one-get-one-free or 50% off promotions on all their sunscreens. So if you buy it during a sale, you can snag this decent product at a bargain price! Overall - If you're looking for a product primarily for brightening, I'd recommend something else. However, if you're in search of a very hydrating sunscreen or makeup base, I'd definitely recommend this!!! 1. The excessive oily sheen on the surface is a bit concerning. 2. Due to its moisturizing nature, the longevity of its tone-evening effect is... (speechless) Rather than using it alone, apply a thin layer before makeup and then gently pat on cushion foundation or liquid foundation. This is when the product really shows its effectiveness!
