Just one application is enough to make your skin feel deeply hydrated without any irritation. It's a bit sticky. After applying it with your hands, they feel so tacky that you'll want to wash them right away... haha! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2019
A friend recommended this as a life-changing toner, so I've been using it for three days now. While I haven't noticed any significant changes yet, I can say that as someone with super sensitive skin, it doesn't seem to cause any irritation. The price is a bit steep, and the bottle design is really inconvenient to use. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2018
It's moisturizing and convenient to use before applying base makeup. It provides good hydration too! Apart from moisturizing, it doesn't do much else... It's just handy to use in the morning instead of toner and emulsion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 5, 2018
I've been using this for three months now. While it's not super rich, it's quite hydrating. Plus, it comes in a large size. As someone with extremely dry skin, I bought this expecting it to be a concentrated essence type like Sulwhasoo's First Care Activating Serum, but it's not quite at that level. Considering the price, it's below expectations. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2017
I'm on my third bottle now. It feels more like a boosting essence than a toner. Unlike Galactomyces that forms a moisture-locking film, this deeply penetrates and doesn't feel heavy even on the oily areas of my combination skin. The scent is very subtle, and it has a transparent, extremely fluid serum-like texture. On days with heavy makeup, I use this after cleansing and toning. Otherwise, I apply it directly as an essence. Then I layer on a serum and dab a bit of cream only on dry areas. This routine leaves my skin feeling great without any stickiness. Oh, and the bottle was designed by Serge Lutens when he was with Shiseido. I used to think it was round, but now it reminds me of a Serge Lutens perfume bottle! Turns out, even the logo is a graphic using the alphabet. Honestly, these days I don't have high expectations for ingredients unless it's a Korean product... Still, it's quite shocking that a product I like contains 4 out of 20 cautionary ingredients, including parabens... I'm surprised I didn't think to check. I guess I didn't notice any skin reactions and only felt the benefits. While the bottle design is aesthetically pleasing, it's really impractical to use. It's a typical design that doesn't consider the user. Even if vintage is the concept, the inconvenience is unforgivable. Sometimes when I want to boost hydration before makeup, I soak a Shiseido cotton pad generously with this and place it on my face. It makes my makeup apply smoothly and stay put without breaking down. Just remember to use less of other skincare products when doing this.
