  The color is just dark enough to match my skin perfectly I can walk around with a naturally healthy skin feeling The expression is semi-matte, but it's thin enough for skincare to come through I like the smooth expression, so I apply concealer and it works well - it becomes dewy.   I discovered this product while looking for a darker concealer to mix with the slightly lighter cushion I normally use. When I mixed a small amount with my usual cushion, it matched my skin tone perfectly. It also worked well as a base shading, and didn't cause any breakouts for my sensitive skin, which was great.

  Cons

  While the base shading wasn't bad, it had too much redness which was disappointing. Additionally, the product tends to leak out of the container, so I have to wipe it down frequently.   First, my skin type is dry, acne-prone, and shade 24-5. 1. No Acne I actually have acne-prone skin, and while it's not severe, my skin is a bit sensitive, so whether acne pops up is important. But this product did not cause any acne to appear!! I'm not sure if all Maybelline concealer products are non-acnegenic, but this particular shade did not cause any breakouts! 2. Color Among the products sold at Roadshop, this seems to be one of the top 3 darkest concealers. For those of us with really dark skin, it can be difficult to find the right concealer shade at Roadshop. This concealer is perfect for mixing purposes! When used alone, it has a slightly reddish undertone, but when mixed with other products, the reddish tone is almost completely gone, so I've been using it well!
